Obamacare: Howard Dean admits that private employers will drop healthcare coverage

September 20, 2011

Below is a video in which Howard Dean claims that Obamacare is good for small businesses because they will eventually drop healthcare coverage for employees:

Howard Dean has admitted what most of us knew was the truth all along; Obamacare was designed to get more people off of private healthcare insurance and onto the government dole. This was the true intent all along and only after this disastrous bill was passed are Democrats now willing to admit the truth.

OBAMACARE is tyrannical legislation and must be repealed. Central government control promotes bungling bureaucracy! Imagine that receiving health care will be handled in the same fashion the the Department of Motor Vehicles is handled……

I happened to catch it on Morning Joe. He is one of the most arrogant individuals out there. Even if we are able to repeal it, I am not sure how we will ever be able to unravel it. The Billions of Dollars they are taking out of Medicare funding, will bankrupt hospitals, and thus will become Government Hospitals, with employees Government Union employees. They are planning on taking out $1 Billion in funding. If the funding does not get reinstated, there will be few Hospitals standing..

Bunkerville, I am not sure how we will ever find all the pieces of this puzzle to take it apart. We know that departments were set up immediately, but how wide spread it has become at this point will remain to be seen. Of course we always knew what the outcome would be, at least the ones that were listening. The others that were willing to “take a chance on it”, will be sorely disappointed, but not until it actually affects them. I know so many people that are finally opening up their eyes, but not until it hit their pocketbook. Now they wish they had listened. Look at the mess we have, who cleans it up and is it fair to ask the ones that didn’t want it in the first place? I don’t know, I just don’t know. The people that never had to pay for anything to begin with will not be hurt, it will be US, the ones that DO pay into the system that will be. The illegals will also be well taken care of and they know this. I am sure I will be hearing about that comment, but I don’t really care. I am tired of carrying the load for others, how about you? Obamacare was a BIG mistake from the getgo! Do you think people are any wiser today because of it?

Working in Healthcare as I do, I can say that few if any realize the State we are in right now. PA just cut Medicaid reimbursements to Docs and Hospitals that already were losers. Reimbursement is half of what is required to cover services. Medicare the same. Private Insurance companies have had to take on pre-existing conditions which sounds swell, but often can cost Hundreds of thousands of dollars, of which we now cover in our premium. Little if any new technology is being pruchased by Hospitals, difficulty in getting much needed cancer drugs because of government caused shortages. How much will be left by 2013? I doubt very much.

And the longer it goes without repeal the harder it is going to be to stop the wheels which are already rolling.

Can you say Greece? Junk Bond Status? it’s hard to unring this bell called Obamacare. The politicians that championed this, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Hussein Obama, need to be defeated in landslides, so they never can raise campaign money again.

Obamacare rationing will kill many Americans. So much for feel good, *free* health insurance. http://www.slideshare.net/CraigJCasey/obamacare-rationing

Bunkerville, I am with a medical background, also, so understand what you are saying. I really believe we are headed towards what the UK is dealing with, marginal healthcare, at best. What have we become? Who will be held accountable?

It is scary to see where this legislation is likely to take us and one has to wonder if this is what Obama wanted all along.

So many of us tried to warn people about this being the true goal of Obamacare and we were not listened to in time. Now we are shown to be right but it may already be too late.

This is what ObamaCare was designed to do. It was crafted to drive us towards a single payer system by creating exactly this kind of crisis. They built in incentives for the businesses to drop their insurance plans and pay the fines. The fines are cheaper than expensive insurance plans the companies would be forced to pay for. As Obama said it’s math…

Exactly John and they all knew it to, this is what they wanted and when you think about how they are looking to undermine a private industry for more control it is scary to think about where they may go next if we let them.

That’s why the mandate issue is moot. If the Supremes rule it’s not mandatory, insurance carriers go under and you’re left with single payer. http://www.cobrahealth.com/Obamacare.html

Dean has it right! By hook or crook the goal of ObamaCare is to establish socialized medicine and totally replace private insurers. After all, the Progressives know what’s best for us and they fully intend to do what we are to stupid to do for ourselves.

Ron, I didn’t realize that I had become so stupid over the years, until you just told me! For some reason, I thought I was doing all the right things, but now that this Administration is there I can just let them take care of me. Right? Right? Apparently, I was too stupid to figure this out on my own, how much I needed them. Does that mean you and Steve and John and LD and Harrison and Bunkerville and all the rest are stupid as well? Wow, just wow! All I can say is “thank goodness for Obama”! What would we have done without him? /s

Ron, they denied this while the debate over Obamacare was raging but now that it has passed they feel as if they can tell the truth.

Ron after reading Voodoo Medicine, I see your point! Steve, the truth has a way of surfacing, doesn’t it? You can only lie for so long until people just don’t believe anything you say. Do you think that this might be starting to happen? Before Obama could say anything and people hung on every word, now there are not too many that want to see him on tv or hear him on the radio. Well, the ones that receive hand-outs think he is still “all that”, but I am hopeful that he has been taken down a few notches in their eyes. I think in the not too distant future that even the handouts are going to get skimpier and then what? Who will they protest against then? Probably the the evil Republicans.

Yeah, Ron is on our side. I think you misundestood what he was saying. It happens time to time. And I do think that Obama is getting to the point that when he speaks people just roll their eyes–I know I do.

I don’t know about you guys, but I was NOT born yesterday! Of course this was their goal and there were sure many people that bought into it. Apparently nothing sent up a red flag to them. I hate to believe that there are that many individuals walking around in existence that are functioning adults and they didn’t question any of it. Is it because they are liberals and they just don’t think their party would lie to them? I am a republican and I sure don’t believe every thing my party tells me. Is that the difference between us? We have the common sense to question things and…….they DON’T? Hmmmmm.

I think many liberals probably knew this was the goal, but I also think many of them approve of it because they want to bring down the private insurance industry. They are anti-capitalists and they do not like the fact that insurance companies make money.

I hope you are right, Ron! Having lived in Illinois all but 3 years of my 57 years, I know what politicians from Chicago are like. They come to Springfield and run the state government. Obama has learned from the best and “crooked as snakes” is a mild way of putting it when it comes to describing them. They are groomed to take their rightful place in our state government and as much as we try to vote them out, they always find those extra ballots. Honesty, is probably not and never will be in their vocabulary.
