DHS released an admitted terrorist who entered the country illegally, and they don’t know where he is
Everybody has to have priorities right? Well, the DHS certainly has priorities and they seem to be misplaced priorities if you ask me. Last November I wrote this article about the Department of Homeland Security working in conjunction with the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement office to seize websites belonging to people who are infringing on the copyrights of the music industry by bootlegging music online. While these websites are criminal enterprises and should be cracked down on, I fail to see how this is an issue of national security and it certainly is not an immigration issue.
There are only so many hours in a day, so while the DHS and ICE have seemingly prioritized bootleggers it seems only natural that some other issue must take a back seat to the enforcement of copyright laws. And that issue would be immigration–an issue that does affect national security and is the very reason for ICE in the first place–so in June of this year the DHS misled the Congress and started issuing defacto amnesty to illegal aliens. And then last month Barack Obama gave the DHS the cover it needed when he announced new immigration policy which was basically just an affirmation of policy which was technically already in place.
This policy means that it is no longer a prosecutable crime to simply break into the country and only after an illegal immigrant commits another crime will they be considered for deportation. The fact is that the DHS was not competent enough to enforce immigration law in the first place as can be seen in this story:
Two Bangladeshis who were caught by Customs and Border Protection illegally crossing the border in June 2010 admitted under questioning that they were members of a designated terrorist organization that signed on to a fatwa by Osama bin Laden pledging to wage war against Americans.
But amazingly, after one of the men requested asylum, he was released on bond. And now one Homeland Security official tells me, concerning the released terror operative, “We don’t have the slightest idea where he is now.”
DHS released a man who crossed the border illegally, and who admitted that he had ties to terrorism and now–much like the weapons the federal government sold to known drug lords–the government has no idea where this terrorist is. This happened before the new immigration policy was put into place by Barack Obama and it can be chalked up to incompetence. But under Barack Obama’s new decree it will no longer simply be incompetence but rather it will be government policy because simply crossing the border illegally is no longer illegal. I would suggest that examples such as this are only going to increase now that it is stated government policy to let illegal aliens off the hook when they are caught.
This new policy may make us less safe but at least the music bootleggers are shaking in their boots! You have to have priorities, right?

American is broke, busted, so how can we imprudently repeat the same old performance of bringing in one million legal immigrants a year? How can we substantiate this, when we have a rising unemployment rate for average Americans of all races? This is not even counting the 20 million plus illegal aliens who are already here. It occurs to me and a good portion of the lawful populace, that illegal immigrants are receiving a better deal than lawful Americans. Its beyond most people’s comprehension that entitlements being collected by illegal aliens, were diverted to our Social Security fund, could make a difference to senior’s life’s; the homeless, the sick, veterans and towards the U.S. Treasury deficit. Just take a look of Rick Perry providing illegal alien student taxpayer tuition, when US citizens Out-of-State must pay full fees in Texas? Perry also disapproved of constructing the fence, which most certainly all RINO’s object to; they need those discount illegal laborers.
We deserve a President that upholds our laws, instead of bypassing Congress with Executive directives. He must be willing to protect America from its internal enemies, and sustain the 1986 Immigration laws against all entities who are pushing for wide open borders and allowing uncountable amounts of poverty-stricken people to enter this sovereign nation.
Dr. Steve Camarota at the Center for Immigration Studies finds that 81% of the jobs created in Rick Perry’s Texas between the years 2007 and 2011 went to newly-arrived immigrants. Something is seriously wrong here, but it will never change in the deep seated GOP members or the far left or Democratic leadership. The only chance of a different path to America’s rebirth is to stifle the powerful influences of both political parties and their campaign contributors. The TEA PARTY has a massive growing membership with real new ideas, such as moving back education to the states; dismantle the federal government to its original purpose as in the living Constitution.
Scrap and draft a new fair Tax code as expressed by businessman Herman Cain, who is a very elegant orator and has a real plan for America. Cain also promises to enforce immigration laws, build the double layer fence with no endorsement of another amnesty. I am sure TEA PARTY leading voice of Cain would approve of is Rep.Lamar Smith’s mandated E-Verify bill H.R. 2885, known as the “Legal Workforce Act.” would reduce the illegal aliens stealing through our porous border. This would also cause a reduction of numbers cutting-back significantly on family members coming here, as if the illegal bread winner cannot get settled and find a job; why bother.
E-Verify will join the highly controversial “Secure Communities”, The Halt Act (Hinder the Administration’s Legalization Temptation Act), The Save Act (The Secure America with Verification and Enforcement Act) and the 287 G police laws that are as necessary as authorized restraint against the decades of abandonment. When nationwide E-verify becomes law, then it will strengthen the state laws of Arizona, Georgia, Alabama and those who want to save their states from—ECONOMIC—illegal immigrants and migrants.
Then we have an escalation of whistle’ Blowers who are connecting with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division at 1-866-DHS-2ICE (866-347-2423). SEE SOMETHING? DO SOMETHING? With no questions asked about personal information, you can contact ICE and inform agents about your suspicions of foreign nationals working illegally in the USA. This is a sure way to aid your fellow Americans, who cannot get a job. Yet we have seen on many occasions unemployed Americans flocking to suddenly open jobs, where illegal aliens have been apprehended and detained by ICE.
After these lightening sweeps in northern Nevada in September, ICE agents raided 11 McDonald’s restaurants and arrested dozens of workers. On August 30, (ICE) agents converged at a supermarket parking lot in Maywood, California. Hundreds of sweeps have been conducted, under President Obama’s presidency, but currently these sweeps are only being ordered to–ONLY–arrest and deport criminal elements. An executive order adverse to the US Constitution was signed allowing allegedly for people without records to be released on the streets again.
With so many illegal aliens squatting here, we must be very attentive in Future election cycles. It has been proven with no room for doubt that hundreds of thousands of foreigners voted in the midterm election. Fraudulent registrations and criminals providing absentee ballots will do our Democracy harm and as yet the federal government has not demanded a mandatory ID identification for “Citizens” Voting. ACORN, that was supposedly disbanded and yet alive and well, under assumed business names was a mastermind in cheating the system, on behalf of the Democrats.
We must return our country to a zero-tolerance policy, that doesn’t deport just criminals, but every person who cannot prove he has a right to live and work in the United States. THIS IS WHY WE NEED A CONGRESS THAT WILL AMEND OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS, MAKING UNLAWFUL ENTRY A STRICT FELONY. These simple commentaries cannot hope to supplement the information contained at NumbersUSA, Judicial Watch and American patrol websites. The web contains thousands of grass root organization that can assistant you in your search for the truth, not the engineered information publicized by the Liberal backed press.
Why do Farmers and large industrial agriculturist appose E-Verify? For years since the “Bracero program” was eliminated in 1964, they have had unfettered recruitment of illegal workers; a convenient way of hiring people to work the land. With E-Verify, every worker must be verified and cannot be exploited for wages, health treatments or conditions as it’s always been asserted. The agrarian community will no longer be able to drop off an injured or sick worker at the emergency room, leaving the uninsured for taxpayers to pick up the bill.

This is just another showing either of how incompetent this administration is OR a smack in our face of doing what they want to do, when they want to do it. I am not sure which is worse anymore. This is a total disregard for the American people that it is allowed to happen in our country. That it is done BY Americans TO Americans is what is so infuriating.

We meaning the administration? We as the people did not. What a difference there is there! You would think that people would be getting upset when the president goes to other countries and apologizes for us or makes remarks about us, but guess not. I don’t know about any of you, but I don’t like it when people do things FOR me or put words in MY mouth. If I didn’t ask for help or didn’t say it, they need to leave me alone. I think that is part of this administrations problem, they think we need to be taken care of. They also believe that they need to tell other countries how bad we have been and make excuses for US. I just want a government that is small, but one that does what I WANT them to do and nothing more. They don’t need to take it upon themselves to know what is best for me. Having said that, I don’t think they have my best interest at heart, not at ALL. It is all about the control and taking us off the “super power” pedestal. Apparently most people just think it is business as usual. When I talk to someone like that, it amazes me that they can be so blind to the facts. I know there is not alot out there in the regular news, but you would think they would take some iniative and actually search for the truth. So, this is what we have become as a nation!!!!

Lou, sadly there is a portion of this country that does feel as if the US needs to apologize to the rest of the world, but I find it disgusting. And yes, this regime does feel as if they are our parents and need to take care of us because they feel we are too stupid to know what is best for us. Barack Obama is a statist who believes that the larger and more intrusive the government is the more effective it is.

B, yes he does, but how badly will it turn out for us when he does this? It seems like his crisis is always attached to us losing a bit more of our freedoms. Along with that, people start going into a panic and then the government comes in with even a bonus loss added on top of the planned loss of freedom. How many times can people buy this before they get wise? Surely everyone is not this stupid? ???

One of the basic functions of government is to protect its citizen. This government has been derelict in their duties to protect their citizens by not enforcing our immigration laws and not deporting those who are here illegally and have broken our laws. This cannot be tolerated anymore. It’s time to contact your elected official and voice this concern.

John, my concern is contacting our elected officials does not seem to make a difference, It is as though they have their agenda mapped out for them and they do not go off script. What do you think the next step should be after we are ignored? There is a post here from Aug 19th, I believe, about illegal immigrants that has taken off running with alot of comments. Steve and I commented that it sure has had the visits to it. The comments are very negative America and American people. They attack us for wanting to uphold our rights and the Constitution. They feel they can come here and, I guess, not have anything done to them. Bottom line, they broke the law, but they don’t see it that way. My question is, now does our Government see it that way too? If they do, then yes, we need to change the players ,don’t we? I am tired of more and more of my money being used for “programs”, be they for illegals or just moochers. Some of the comments say they don’t take any of our money, only pay into taxes and never file. That right there admits guilt. I am sure if I went to the hospital with no insurance, it would not get paid for and they would keep after ME until I paid the bill in full. Where is the difference for illegals. The same goes for insurance, I have it, and the last 2 people that hit our cars, did not. We paid the deductible and got the cars fixed, but they paid nothing and were not jailed. Isn’t that a crime to drive with no insurance? I think the Government/States/Counties have just ignored these facts and are letting us pick up the tab, must be easier for them. I am pretty much disgusted with
how things are run now!!!!

Steve and John, I believe the administration would argue that the ARE protecting us, it just happens to be from ourselves! We are our own worst enemies, aren’t we? They would argue that we don’t know what is best for us and so they have to take over the reins. Well, at least that is how I see it. As for the reelections, maybe we need to have even shorter terms, no retirement benefits and have a probationary period that if they don’t do what we put them in for, we can get rid of them. Ones like Durbin, Reid, Pelosi need not think they would have a career if we had rules like that. I know it would never happen, but it would be smarter to do that. Then they could go back to whatever they had been doing, after say 2 years???? Ah, but who would listen to ME, I am only one of many that SHOULD have the say so, since I give them the money to operate with. I would also call that an “allowance” that could be cut back if need be, NOT increased whenever they want more. You say I am dreaming????? ha!

Steve, it has come down to the illegals having more rights than the US citizens. This is very WRONG! It is thrown in our faces and they dare us to do anything about it. This is not a one party thing, it is coming at us from both sides. They do a bit of arguing when the cameras are on them, but in the end they are friends and we are the sorry saps that get to pick up the tab. This whole administration is needing a good cleaning. I don’t think it is governing FOR the people anymore, do you?
