Video: Herman Cain debating Bill Clinton in 1994 on economics

October 6, 2011

While perusing my normal stops in the blogoshpere this morning I came across a video at Conservative Hideout that I just had to share. This is a video from 1994 and it is of Herman Cain participating in a Town Hall meeting with then President Bill Clinton. They are discussing economics and the issue of Hillarycare and it is well worth a look. Herman Cain gives President Clinton a little lesson in economics.

I have seen this before and Herman Cain kept very calm throughout the whole conversation. Is it any wonder that Hillarycare didn’t work then and Obamacare will not work now? The difference between Obama and Clinton is that Clinton was a lot smoother operator. Obama takes cheap shots at people pretty quickly now, he didn’t used to , but I think he is fed up with US not doing as he tells us. The difference between Obama and Cain, is that Cain has actually HELD A JOB!

Clinton really was good in this video as well; he asked Cain questions on the numbers and was able to intelligently debate the issue with Cain. Obama never would have been able to ask the questions on this issue that Clinton did.

I watched this vid three times now. I love it. Clinton didn’t know that Cain had a degree in mathematics.

Clinton did well in this but once he realized he had lost the debate he moved on rather quickly.

The More That I See and Hear Herman Cain – The More I Like This Man
I am starting to assess what is the best path to move Obama out of the White House
And Herman Cain is begining to look like an Answer

I liked him in the beginning and then I cooled on him, but I am starting to like him more and more.

The other STRIKING thing about this exchange is how respectful and intelligent Clinton is compared to Obama. Obama is alway condescending and dismissive and never discusses or shows interest in actual facts. It is astonishing, really.

There is no doubt about that! Clinton was very respectful and acted in a manner in which Obama simply cannot when somebody questions him.
