Gunrunner: Darrell Issa subpoenas White House aide

October 14, 2011

Earlier this week Darrell Issa subpoenaed Eric Holder and asked for more documents and emails related to Fast and Furious, and it now appears as if it is only a matter of time before Eric Holder will have to testify once again before the Congress to “clarify” his previously “deceptive” testimony. In addition to the subpoena issued to Eric Holder, Darrell Issa also subpoenaed a White House aide who was in email contact with the “Justice” Department.

The aide in question is Eric Schultz and he was brought on by the White house specifically to respond to the Oversight Committee. The “Justice” Department was communicating with the White House as the scandal was unfolding and Darrell Issa wants to see what was discussed between these two criminal organizations.

We know there were communications that did go to the White House on Fast and Furious. We’ve been told that they were personal communications that just happened to occur. We wanted an official assurance on that.

The White House was communicating with the “Justice” Department as the scandal began to unfold and these are supposedly personal emails; if that is the case Eric Holder should have no problem releasing these emails because surely they will show no link between the White House and the “Justice” Department if these really are personal emails. But Darrell Issa isn’t convinced:

The question is whether the White House has been instructing the Justice Department on what [documents] to release

What is at question here is whether or not the White House was instructing the “Justice” Department on which documents should be released and which documents should be stonewalled. This investigation appears to be moving past Eric Holder and higher up the chain and possibly all the way to Barack Obama. This scandal is getting close to the White House and if I were Barack Obama I would be getting just a little bit nervous.

Of course the White House had a hand in what is being given out for information. I would expect nothing less from them. Don’t you imagine there have been alot of late nights in the Oval Office trying to figure out what to do? I can only think that they know in the past they might have been believed, but now even the MSM is questioning them. That is a sign that things are not going as planned and they are losing control. They, at one point thought they could bully everyone but, in the end it is the bully that will be ganged up on. I think their time has come and it hasn’t come soon enough. Every day we are hearing about this now, I do not think it can be covered up anymore. Excuses? Maybe, but I doubt they will be believed, either. It is “pay-back” time, friends!

This is beginning to spin out of control for Obama. In the beginning he was able to control this scandal because the media was covering for him, but it is growing to the point where the media can no longer ignore what has happened. The more he tries to control the story, and the more he tres to cover this up, the deeper he digs his own grave.

The media may be seeing that what they have been doing to journalism can’t continue this way or there will not be anyone that wants to read what they print. They have lost pretty much all credibility with the public. Now they have to decide if they want to retain what little they have left and try and build on our trust again. It will be an uphill climb, but I think they know either they do it, or they may be out of a job. Apparently, it is finally hitting home with them. When it starts to affect their numbers and paycheck they have to start paying attention. People are tired of being lied to and want the truth, that is something that has been lacking for quite awhile.

That could be true; the newscasts at noght have been losing their viewership and the circulation of newspapers is dwindling as people turn to the internet for their news, so maybe they are finally starting to realize that they have been negligent and are trying to make a comeback. It will be interesting to see how they cover the story though because we have already caught them lying about Bush policies in an effort to cover for Obama on this.

I’m going to have to use that video tonight. There is no doubt that the regime was trying to meet the 90% lie in order to clamp down on the second amendment.

More Americans need to know about this. True, true, it is more amusing to focus on the Wall Street morons, Michelle Obama’s horse-face, or something that Nancy (My God I can’t feel my face!) Pelosi says, but the brutal truth is that this is HUGE news and our Dear Leader is in it up to his eyebrows.

    Impeachment, anyone?

Yes, this story is more important than any story being covered in the media today–Solyndra is a close second–and yet it still isn’t getting the coverage it deserves.
      I’ll second the impeachment motion.

This is correct, all of it is just “cover” for the really important things that are happening. Most people would rather just see what Michelle is wearing or what kind of beer Barry is drinking and all the while we are being had. Most people also just do not want to deal with the bad stuff, do they? If they can focus on good things, then they are ok. Once again, about impeachment, if we try to impeach Obama are we not accepting that he is truly a natural born citizen at that point? I still don’t think he is and am not ready to say that. I think he is guilty as hell with all the bad that is happening to US, I think he needs to go to jail, but with criminal charges. That would take him out of office with that ends, also. I don’t think that Congress has it in them to “impeach”. However, if the evidence proves he is guilty of doing wrong, they will have to accept that and move on.

I don’t believe Obama is getting nervous. He is someone who will never walk away from the most powerful office in the land. He still has work to do in terms of destroying our economy.
