The Noise live in Manchester New Hampshire
November 7, 2011
As I have mentioned once or twice in previous posts, my son is a guitarist in a band called The Noise and last Saturday night they played a benefit show for a severely disabled little girl in Manchester New Hampshire. It has been a few months since the full band has performed and this was a great show–there was a large crowd and they were really into the set.
Here are a few videos from the show; the vocals turned out a little low in my recordings during a few of the songs, but they are still pretty good in my opinion. In order they are the originals What are We Fighting For, Hold On, Six Foot Fame, Will I Remember, and Life, followed by a cover of Simple Man.

They sound pretty good to me, you say you were having problems? I like seeing bands in smaller areas like that as compared to some huge arena, don’t you? I still hear some Neil Young hint of sound coming out of them. That was a good thing they did, give them a pat on their backs from me. There are not too many kids that would do that.

The band wasn’t having troubles, they sounded fine in person. I just thought the audio on my recording wasn’t the best. I took the videos with my son’s Droid and the audio only comes out so well on a cell phone at that loudness, plus my location wasn’t the best for the audio. I thought on a couple of songs the vocals didn’t come out on the recording as loud as they should have.
I do love seeing bands in a small venue also, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them play in a large arena someday! 🙂 I’m going to have to listen for the Neil Young thing.
