Gunrunner: Eric Holder blames the media for his unpopularity

November 29, 2011

One thing that we know about liberals is that they do not believe in personal responsibility. They always claim victimhood status while blaming every one else for their shortcomings. Barack Obama is a perfect example of this; he is still blaming President Bush for the fact that all of his policies have failed instead of admitting the truth about his policies.

The latest example of this is Eric Holder and the Fast and Furious scandal. Over 50 House members have now called for his resignation due to what is either his involvement in the scandal, or his incompetency for not knowing what was happening within his department. When a reporter for the Daily Caller asked Eric Holder to respond to the requests for his resignation Eric Holder said this:

You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it
Eric Holder is not taking responsibility for his actions, or inactions depending on your perspective, and is instead blaming the media for influencing the Congress to call for his resignation. It couldn’t possibly be the fact that Eric Holder is obstructing justice, stonewalling the investigation, promoting people involved in the scandal in return for their silence, or even the fact that he has already perjured himself that the Congress is upset about. It is all the media’s fault because if it weren’t for websites like the Daily Caller the people wouldn’t even know what they do about this scandal and Eric Holder would be home free.

Eric Holder is duplicitous in the Fast and Furious scandal: I think he authorized it, but even if he didn’t it proves he is incompetent. But he is also actively engaged in a government coverup and that make him a accessory after the fact, yet he doesn’t think the media or the Congress has the right to second guess what he has done.

And it isn’t surprising that the left leaning Media Matters, which once labeled this blog a pro-militia website, has his back on this issue:

Holder is right: This isn’t a grassroots movement of conservatives calling for Holder to step down, it’s a concerted effort by a supposed media organization to push him out
In other words Eric Holder’s actions are not to blame for his current woes because this is all part of a witch hunt, or of a vast right wing conspiracy if you prefer. The bottom line is this: Eric Holder’s defense has become the “stop picking on me” defense.

Is this a joke? The “media” has been loathe to report anything negative about Holder.

Doesn’t it make you laugh? There has been virtually nothing about this in the MSM and when someone dares to question Holder he immediately turns the tables on them and blames them for his woes. Could you imagine how much trouble Holder would be in if the media were doing their job?

And yet he still refuses to step down. The only way Holder steps down is if he is indicted and that’s not going to happen. I’m writing both my Senators to encourage them to encourage Holder to step down.

Just goes to show you that this Administration will turn on anyone! At first the “being thrown under the bus”, was just funny, but it sure took hold. This is one time I am glad I don’t work for them, because job security would hinge on keeping your mouth shut and keeping stories straight.

There is no longer multiple stories to keep straight because the facts are now locked behind closed doors.

    Throw all the bums out!

Presidents are limited to two terms.
Governors are limited to two terms.
How is it House Reps and Senators can be in office longer than the despots of the Middle East?

The founders thought the public would always be enlightened enough to pay attention and get rid of corrupt or ineffective politicians, therefor no term limits, but it appears as if this was one issue they miscalculated. Not enough people know who they are voting into office.

This is an ironic claim considering most of the media is devoted to protecting democrats in every possible way. He sees Obama blaming Bush for all of Obama’s problems, and so Holder is looking for someone to pin his problems on. Obama has taught him that there is no reason to accept personal responsibility…
