Video: What Mitt Romney doesn’t want you to see
Mitt Romney has a problem with conservatives, they simply do not trust him and it is not without good reason. We have been told by the Republican establishment as well as the mainstream media that Mitt Romney is the most electable candidate and stands the best chance to defeat Barack Obama.
The mainstream media is force feeding Republican voters Mitt Romney for one reason and one reason only; they find him to be the less offensive (read, most liberal) Republican candidate in the race, and in the event he were to defeat Barack Obama they would rather have Mitt Romney in office than any other candidate.
That simple fact tells us all we need to know about Mitt Romney, but here are some questions Republican voters need to ask themselves: How can a man who has been on both sides of so many issues be trusted? How do we know how Mitt Romney will govern if he were to defeat Barack Obama? Does anyone really doubt that he would quickly pivot back to the left if he found it politically expedient to win reelection?
Before you head to the polls in your state and pull the lever for Mitt Romney because you feel he is the most electable candidate you would do well to remember that at varying points in his political career he actually held viewpoints which are not all that different from Barack Obama. Mitt Romney is a political whore who will say whatever it takes to win election, he has no core beliefs other than the fact that he feels entitled to be president.
Here is what Mitt Romney doesn’t want you to see:

Flippity Flop ….. Thanks for this! It’s about time we had someone we could trust. Just in case, I don’t mean “trust Obams to sink America”.

You are welcome. There is no way that we can trust Mitt Romney, sure he says the right things now but does he really believe them?

William, we are running out of candidates. Pretty soon, we will have to make a choice and it is not looking good right now.

Romney has so poisoned the Republican field with his attack ads on the ther candidates in his quest to become president he may be on the verge of ruining all hopes a Republican can win in November.

No argument here William. There isn’t enough of a difference between Romney and Obama to make a difference who wins.

Well, he isn’t going to want this in wide circulation, will he? Therefore, we should make sure lots and lots of people see it.

No he isn’t, and yes we should!

There’s a reason Romney can’t run away with the nomination. When things were looking up in November 2010, the last thing people were thinking about is Romney and Gingrich leading the pack.

So true, how did we go from Tea Party elected people to two of the biggest RINOs on the face of the earth leading the pack? I still can’t figure that out.

Although I agree with your conclusion that Romney isn’t the desired candidate for the people of our country and, that the GOP hierarchy is pushing the fact that he is a moderate and therefore the most “electable” candidate, I think your premises are flawed in one fact. We are intentionally being divided.
If we vote as a block we can’t be beat. The strategy for the media and the Democrat party and, possibly the Republican party also, is to divide and conquer. Many Conservatives will stay home as opposed to voting for Romney or, as has been put forward recently, an independent candidate will run. Either way the vote will be diluted and Obama will win.
Unfortunately money is king in Presidential elections, or for that fact any election, and those that have good ideas have no money and those with the money haven’t a clue. I believe that the only way out of having the lesser of two evils to vote for is Revolution. We as individuals or even small groups have no choice. The concept of Democracy holds us down 50.1% of the people subjugate the other 49.9%. Until that can be changed permanently the world is screwed!

There is no doubt that we are being divided and a divided base means the reelection of Barack Obama. I know this is happening but Mitt Romney is partly to blame for this as well. The way he has attacked any Republican who posed a challenge to him has been beaten down ruthlessly and this will only alienate the supporters of the candidates he destroyed. They will harbor a grudge that makes it impossible for them to vote for Romney. If he wins the nomination he just might have done it through circumstances which guarantee his defeat in November.

Mitt Romney would not be quite so unpalatable if he would stick to one position. He isn’t an unlikeable fellow, but he flops like a fish out of water and has done so his entire political career.

We simply don’t know who the real Mitt Romney is, do we?

The one good piece of news is that Romney is running out of candidates to trash. As far as Santorum is concerned, I doubt that there is going to be a whole lot to trash him on, when compared to Romney. That which he faults Santorum on, he has doubled it in spades. I find Santorum’s preachy style of family values annoying, even thought I support much of it. If he stays away from focusing on the God, Guns and Gays social issues, and concentrates on the issues of the day, he might have a chance. Sooner or later he will feel compelled to slide into the Abortion issue. He will lose the Independents then.

I agree, my one consern about Santorum is that he, or more appropriately the media, will turn this into an election about social values. While social values are important we have many more important issues to focus on and this will be a diversion from the disasterous policies of Barack Obama.

Steve, from the last 8 or so posts with wierd names on them in the recent comments list, I think you are being “spammed”. Can you block that sort of post?

I have noticed this as well and have been deleting them, I am going to have to look into the possibility of blocking them and it is a thought that has crossed my mind. Akismet usually does a good job at catching the spam automatically, but these ones seem to be missing my spam filter for some reason.
