Debbie Wasserman Schultz taken to task by California talk show host
Debbie Wasserman Schultz–the “charming” woman with the “dazzling smile” according to Barack Obama–appeared on a California radio show to defend the Democrats’ decision to name Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa as Chairman of the Democrat National Convention. When confronted with the facts about what has happened in the city of angels under his failed watch, Debbie Wasserman Schultz resorted to the usual Democrat talking points.
But, undeterred by her efforts to defend Villaraigosa, the radio host brought up the fact that Villaraigosa has been hit with ethics violations of record breaking proportions for the city of Los Angeles and reminded her that three of his bundlers have already been indicted for ethic violations, to which Wasserman Schultz could only reply, “is there something else you would like to talk about?”
Here is the audio of the exchange:

That was worth the price of admission. He actually shut her up!! Maybe this will make some news, hope springs eternal.

It was entertaining wasn’t it? I wouldn’t count on it making the news however.

Yeah, are you shopifting pillows or is that your ass?
Charming smile? You’re so ugly you better tie a porkchop around your neck if you want the dogs to play with you.

I have plenty of other issues I would like to talk to her about, but I have a feeling she doesn’t want to talk about those issues either.

This is what happens when you shine the light of truth on their acts. They simply cannot defend them Steve. So they move to change the subject when backed in a corner. This is all they have and to be honest it’s pathetic.

Exactly John, she knew she could not counter the fact so she decided it was time to move on. Typical.

They are given their talking points and past that, they are lost. They fall back on going over the talking points, again. She was a bit frustrated, wasn’t she?

Yes she was and it was very entertaining and enlightening. Once she was presented with the facts she didn’t know what to do so she asked the interviewer to change the subject.

Slightly off point but to the character of Wasserman-Schultz.
An acquaintance of mine, a former senior policy adviser to the Israeli Government, told me that the Israelis have a pet name for Ms. Debbie – The “J St. Whore.” That nom de plume is in reference to her advocacy of the “pro-peace,” movement to give the Palestinians Jerusalem and any other number of concessions to further peace in the middle east. Of course those idealists refuse to believe that any concession to rabid Islamists is an invitation to disaster in that they, the Palestinians – et al, will never recognize Israels right to exist.
Her advocacy of that position ties in nicely with Barack Obama’s apparent sympathies to Islam at the expense of the Jews. This of course poses a further discussion of why do Jews support a President willing to throw their people to the wolves? Your guess is as good as mine….WM

I honestly do not understand how any Jewish voter could continue to support Obama, he has shown us that he is no friend of Israel.

As a resident of the NY-NJ metro area I have many friends, acquaintences, both business and personal, of the Jewish persuasion. And I agree that one can only scratch one’s head. This left leaning seems to be a right of passage that is unshakable.
Last year as a birthday present I gave a copy of Michaels Savage’s book “Trickle Down Poverty” to a Jewish friend of mine. After the first few chapters he refused to read on claiming the book, as all other right wing propaganda, was of no merit. You can lead a horse to water….

It seems as if nothing is going to change their minds about Obama. They can see where he stands on Israel and yet the Jewish vote will still probably go to Obama. I don’t understand it at all.

I listen to Doug every morning on the way to work. What he said was absolutely true. I live here too. I’ve had plenty more to say about Villaraigosa as well. The guy is nothing but garbage, but it looks like the Dems are grooming him for bigger things. God help us.

It does look like they have him pegged for a higher up position within the party. It sounded like Schultz said he would be the permanent chairman of the convention.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
