Barack Obama’s bio stated he was “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia”
If this story is true things just got a whole hell of a lot more interesting in the world of politics. In 1991 Barack Obama’s agency published a booklet which included the bios of many clients including Barack Obama and this booklet was distributed to people in the publishing industry. Barack Obama’s bio describes him as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
There are only three possible explanations for this: one; either it is true and Barack Obama was actually born in Kenya, two; there was an error in his bio and and Barack Obama was not aware of it, or three; Barack Obama lied about his Kenyan birth hoping to embellish his personal story in an attempt to gain more publicity for his upcoming book.
I don’t believe anyone can hire an agency to represent him and not have approved a bio that the agency had written to represent the client. Surely the agency would submit the bio to the client before it was published, therefore I think it is highly likely that Barack Obama was aware this agency publicized as fact that he was born in Kenya.
But the story doesn’t end there because as late as the year 2007 the agency updated Barack Obama’s bio to include his stint as Illinois Senator, but still left in the language about Obama’s Kenyan birth. Two months after Barack Obama announced his candidacy the language was finally removed from his bio because obviously someone knew this would be problematic to his presidential run.
So what is going on here? Was Barack Obama really born in Kenya, or for 16 years did Barack Obama’s bio contain an untruth about Barack Obama’s upbringing–an untruth which I believe he had to know about? These are questions that need to be answered because either Barack Obama is unqualified to be president or–much like Elizabeth Warren–he was lying for a decade and a half about who he really was.
This seems like a story that all media outlets would investigate moving forward, but unfortunately the media has other issue sthey feel are more important, like finding out if it is true that Mitt Romney once cut another boy’s hair against his will.

Although I’ve never been a “truther”, if this evidence is true, I might just become a believer. I don’t want to believe it (as I think conservative have bigger fish to fry) but if it’s true it’s true. I’ll definitely be watching for info on this…

Same here Patrick, I have stayed away from the birther issue because we must stay focused on the reall issues, but this does cast a new light on Obama’s past and it must be investigated.

Agreed. What happens if it’s true though? Obviously he is completely disgraced, but is he impeached? Arrested? It may be 100% false, but if it’s true, what do you think would happen?

I don’t think anything will happen to him as far as impeachment goes while there is a Democrat controlled Senate, but hopefully this will hurt him in November and we can be rid of this man after the next election. If he does win in November we have to hope the Republicans keep the House and win the Senate because maybe then they will go after him.

Obama’s past life is at best a composite and at worse purely a fictional account of a non-existant ghost. The present day account of the man in the Oval Office is a terrifying truth that we all should fear.

So true Ron, we really don’t know anything about Obama’s past, but what he is doing now should be enough for AMericans to realize they made a terrible mistake in 2008.

Personally, I think this is a huge issue. Any bill signed into law by this man would be null and void as well as every mandate, executive order or “decree” imposed upon us by every federal agency under his control. Any attempt by LE to enforce these illegitimate laws would suddenly be an act of war against the citizens. We’re talking about a conspiracy (not theory) by everyone involved in this cover up to overthrow the government of the United States and the absolute biggest hoax on the American people in the history of this country. Seems pretty big to me.

It is a big story and if this proves to be true it is a scandal of epic proportions which could even dwarf Fast and Furious.

Not so – if such a thing were ever proved, he would likely be removed from office, but nullifying all his actions in office would destroy the nation. Ever hear that old saw, “The Constitution is not a suicide pact”?

I agree TGY, his actions wouldn’t be nullified. In order to reverse him it would be up to the COngress and the new president to pass legislation repealing what he has done.

Probably not Larry. It sounds like Obama wanted to be Kenyan when it helped him, and wanted to be American when that helped him. There seems to be some real dishonesty here.

Dishonesty, you say? I think almost everything about Barack Obama is dishonest. His entire life story seems to have been fabricated, at one point or another. I wouldn’t trust him to walk my dog.

It really is amazing though that we really don’t know anything about this guy’s past, if it was examined in 2008 he would never have been elected in the first place.

It would amplify the seriousness of Fast and Furious, in my opinion, because it would no longer be a “botched” government program, it would become a conspiracy to overthrow the Constitution by illegitimate individuals and the usual protections for these positions would (should) become irrelevant. I’m no lawyer but this all seems like common sense to me. Common sense and law sometimes mix like oil and water.

Wait – you mean that after all these years of the birthers looking under every stone and concocting all sorts of ridiculous scenarios, nobody thought to look at biographical material published for Barack Obama? What’s wrong with this picture?

I had concerns about this story TGY, which is why I started this post with the word “if.” But the agency has now stated that this was a simple editing mistake, so it does appear as if this story is true. It would seem to me as if somebody has been sitting on this story for awhile now and was waiting for the right time to release it.
