Video: Mitt Romney’s new ad uses the mainstream media’s words about Obama’s dishonest and negative campaign against him
July 15, 2012
Below is Mitt Romney’s newest campaign ad which I found at The Right Scoop where he uses the words of the mainstream media against the sitting president. In this ad the media is heard questioning Barack Obama’s decision to go negative right out of the gate, as well as his dishonest ads, and they ask the question, “whatever happened to hope and change?”
A very good question in my opinion; hope and change has been replaced with divide and conquer.

Obama had to go negative—he has nothing positive to run on. At least there are still a few honest voices in the MSM. Linking to this post tomorrow on my Obama Cartoons site.

Thanks in advance for the link Ron, and you are right, Obama has nothing to run on so he must go negative in an attempt to paint Romney as a worse option than he.

I’m Jim Gourdie and I also approvre that message. 🙂
Obama has set the rules for this Presidenrial election, It will down and dirty and Romney will have to respond in kind to a degree. However, I hope Roney will soon start a positive message to the American people explaining how his policies will allow America to be great again and how people will be able to pursue their dreams and how his policies will take America back to fiscal sanity.

I agree! If Romney goes on the defensive, only, he will loose. He needs to show people who he is, not who Obama wants you think he is. If all Obama has left is to attack Romney, then he is in trouble, unless people believe what he says. The problem is, there are those out there that will NOT think for themselves and WILL believe him. We are past the point of trying to keep the peace and avoid being called racist because we don’t happen to agree with his politics. I don’t care what I get called as long as we get Obama out of office. Sad it has gotten to this point. Whatever happened to a “civil” election?

You are so right, lou222. Romney need only speak the truth. The Obamites and the MSM are bot going to give him a brake, so he should just stay on his game plan and sell his ideas to the people.

Jim, you can call me “Lou”, haha! Romney was not my first pick, but I will darn well pull the lever for him if we can get Obama out of office. We can not afford another 4 years, or there will not be a “United” States of America.

I agree Lou, I think that there are people out there who heard the Obama regime call Romney a felon who have already made up their minds that it is true without waiting for any proof. We just have to hope that those are the people who are already in the bag for Obama, and I think that is probably the case.
You are also right about how Romney mustn’t be worried about being called a racist because that is going to happen no matter what–we have already seen it with the ‘kitchen cabinet’ comment–and if ROmney is unwilling to go after Obama hard he will suffer the same fate as did McCain.

If Romney goes too negative the media will turn on him and he will be called a racist, but that is to be expected and he can’t let that stop him for attacking Obama on his record. I think Romney has tried to stay positive to a degree, but he will also need to fight fire with fire.

So do I, this is good but he has to go on the attack. We know Obama is up to the task, but we don’t know if ROmney is.

Frankly, I am already getting sick of Romney He took off the first week of July , took off this weekend, and does one campaign event a day while Obama and his horde is pounding the pavements. Romney did this same thing to Gingrich and the rest of. The GOP candidates. Stop whining and be proud of Bain… It is not a dirty word.

This is a very good indication of how the left is desperate, just as in that earlier post I did. Yes, Mittens will have to be very careful about the balance of what he says, but he’s damn sure going to have to say all of it. His spots are going to have to address the slimy weasel bullshit, and offer the positive alternative clearly. Not just “Look what he did”, but “Here’s what I’m going to do to fix it”.
