Massachusetts Democratic Party Chair apologizes for calling Scott Brown a girl
Earlier today Massachusetts Democratic Party Chair John Walsh called Scott Brown an “honorary girl” for appearing in a campaign ad folding clothes.
he said Brown “spent a couple million dollars folding towels on TV to prove he’s an honorary girl.”
Needless to say, Scott Brown took exception to this remark:
It seems Professor Warren and her spokesman can’t decide if they are just too good to fold laundry, or if household chores are suitable only for women. Professor Warren should apologize for her own elitist remark, and denounce her spokesman’s insulting comments suggesting folding laundry is a ‘girl’s’ job,”
It sends a very bad message,” the senator said. “Professor Warren and her supporters are demeaning people that are just trying to do the best thing they can for their families. It’s sad. It’s a sign of desperation.
Shortly thereafter, realizing his heinous mistake, John Walsh issued an apology:
In the excitement of getting the convention underway and getting the message out about how important it is to re-elect President Obama and elect Elizabeth Warren, I made a statement about Scott Brown that I regret. I apologize for that remark,
In a candid moment John Walsh was swept up in the excitement and made the mistake of letting his true misogynistic feelings known; folding clothes is woman’s work beneath the dignity of a man and for that he has apologized.
It seems to me that while he was attempting to attack Scott Brown he let the world know that he believes a woman’s place is in the home, barefoot and pregnant, folding clothes and making dinner while her man is out on the streets earning money, and for that he cannot apologize because he showed us who he really is. And yet the Democrats claim it is the Republicans who want to push women back into the dark ages with a fictitious war on women?
It has been said in the past that a gaffe is when a politician actually tells the truth and I think this is a case where a politician let his true feelings known to anyone who was listening.
Somewhere in Missouri Todd Akin is smiling…..

I wash my own clothes and fold them, I have been married for 21 years. I was taught to take care of myself in the NAVY! I must be a girl also. And my son, I taught him what I learned in Boot! Be ever careful of your personal hygiene. Everyone around you depends on it.
John Walsh like many other Liberals probably was never in the military!

I also taught him to cook! We must be girls!
I’m comfortable in many European and Eastern European cuisines and in many South East Asian as well.
In mess duty I was the Chiefs Mess Coordinator. My Senior Chief, who by the way put me up for the job, became the MCPON Hagen!
We do the job!

This comment reveals quite a bit about Walsh if you ask me and it doesn’t matter that he apologized because he showed us his true feelings. Bet you never realized you were a girl before! 🙂

And yet it is Mitt Romney that is struggling with the women’s vote?

I guess it shows us who does a better job of getting their message out.

How much more must we endure from these silly clowns? As if we didn’t have enough problems these immature and intellectually challenged morons choose to deflect, obfuscate and make utter fools of themselves on an hourly basis.
Obama’s agenda of divisiveness, class warfare and hate seems to be incrementally shouldering it’s way into our lives – I’m starting to get extremely pissed off….WM

Deep cleansing breaths! Hopefully we will only have to endure this for a few more months, but then again if the Dems lose we may be facing these attacks for the next four years.

Obama’s point is the point of many leftists! Divide and conquer! If he can break us down to those and others we lose! if we stay united. We can’t lose. Desperation is the father of trickery.

That’s exactly it, so much for bringing the country together. Now its win at all costs.

I taught my son to do all those things as well, you never know when you will need to. It has come in handy for him over the years. My Dad taught me how to work on cars and drive a stick shift, does that make me a “boy”? No! My daughter can do those things, as well.
The Dems are hoping It will take the heat off of them and place it elsewhere, it is not working anymore.

I think this comment said more about Walsh than anything else, he let his true feeling known and that is what he is really sorry about.

Never forget, only conservatives make mistakes. The left is always correct, just ask them.
