September 6, 2012

Barack Obama has called in Bill Clinton, the Big Dog (as Chris Mathews calls him,) to help him with his flailing campaign and the one man who might enjoy the spotlight even more than Barack Obama willingly obliged.

But what did Bill Clinton say about Barack Obama in 2008? He called him the “biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen.” Here is the new Romney ad which highlights Bill Clinton then and now:

Excellent find. Let us hope the GOP starts to battle back from the convention,

Thank you, I read somewhere that now that the conventions are over ROmney is planning a huge ad blitz. Let’s hope they hit Obama on all of the topics they have been staying away from.

Let us start with clarification of every piece of what it said in it’s acceptance speech.

Let’s hope that they do not start pulling a “McCain” and become too nice!

That is something I am afraid of Lou. However, I think it really offended Romney that the Democrats floated the notion he was a felon and blamed a woman’s death on him, I don’t expect him to play nice anymore.

What a guy. In the guise of Barry’s savior, Bill becomes titular head of the Democratic party a and a sitting president becomes his lapdog and is obligated to Hill and Bill for 2016. Conversely if Ol’ floppy ears loses in 2012 Hillary’s path in 2016 is still secured.
Maybe Chris Matthews is right in saying that Bill is so smart he knows how to bang Martians; after all he did bomb all the bridges over the Danube, gave away our nuclear delivery systems technologiies to the Chicoms and came in Monica’s mouth and on her dress and got away with it all. You can’t make this crap up.

The Clinton’s don’t do anything if there isn’t something in it for them and in this case it appears to be aligning themselves for 2016.

Both Clinton and Obama are masters at claiming credit for what others do. Welfare reform and Clinton’s balanced budget were not his programs, but Newt’s. And as for Obama, with the efforts of George Bush, Osama would still be in hiding. Give me a break!

And did we once here Bush complain about inheriting Clinton’s recession after two bubbles burst? It shows a clear distinction between Bush and these two.

If I recall, Clinton said a little more than that in 2008. Mitt should dig a little deeper. Good ad nonetheless.

I was wondering about Bill doing a speech, but have come to my conclussion. I believe that he wants Obama to win, not because he likes him or thinks he is good for this country, but….IF Romney got in, then he might do 8 years with a set up for Ryan to go for another 8. If Obama gets in, it will ONLY be for 4 more years and that will open it up for Hillary to run, at that point. I believe she is mid to upper 60’s now and that might be her only chance for a presidential run….am I far off? If she waits 16 years she will be out of the picture or very close to being too old. I never have thought Bill Clinton or his wife would do anything if it did not benefit them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was his motivation at all.

Plus, he would get the title “First Man” instead of “First Lady”?? Who knows, that might just appeal to him. Or, they have things hidden in the WH that they want to get back, like maybe papers that need shredding? I know it sounds stupid, but I never put anything past that couple. You know, when you think you have heard it all………..

Being the first “First Man is probably something that really appeals to his ego.
