Despite warnings the embassies in Libya and Egypt were unprotected leading up to the September 11th attacks
On the eleventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11th two US embassies were attacked in the Middle East–one in Libya and one in Egypt–by Islamist extremists which resulted in the deaths of four American citizens.
It had been reported that these extremists were upset with an anti-Islam movie made in America but it is beginning to look like this was a front for a coordinated attack in retaliation for the United States’ killing of Abu Yahya al-Libi in a drone attack back in June.
The warning signs were there that an attack might be coming soon:
One day before September 11, al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahri posted a 42-minute videoon Jihadist forums urging Libyans to attack Americans to avenge the death of Abu Yahya al-Libi, the terror organization’s second-in-command, whom U.S. drones killed in June of 2012 in Pakistan.
In the video, al-Zawahri said al-Libi’s “blood is calling, urging and inciting you to fight and kill the Crusaders,” leading up to a date heralded and celebrated by radical Islamists.
In the days before the anniversary of September 11th there were renewed calls for violence against the United States and yet Barack Obama didn’t see fit to send Marines into the embassies as September 11th drew near. These particular embassies were left unprotected when violent extremists stormed in and killed four Americans. And honestly, shouldn’t common sense tell you that the embassies should be protected on September 11th?
One of the men killed in the attacks–Sean Smith–instinctively knew that September 11th was a date which Islamists might want to use to launch an attack, this is what he said a few hours before he was killed:
Assuming we don’t die tonight,” the message, which was first reported by Wired, read. “We saw one of our ‘police’ that guard the compound taking pictures
Now he is dead and Barack Obama never saw this attack coming in spite of the warning signs. One would think that as September 11th drew closer the president would realize there should be a heightened level of concern about the possibility of an attack, yet Barack Obama remained so unconcerned or uncaring about the possibility of an attack on the anniversary most celebrated by Islamists that he didn’t even bother to attend any intelligence briefings in the days leading up to the attack. In fact he is last known to have attended a briefing on September 5th.
Perhaps if he had attended one of these briefings he would have understood the need for beefing up security around our embassies in the days before the attacks, and perhaps if he had attended the briefings he would have learned on September 10th that an attack was imminent and could have acted appropriately, but sadly he did not and now four Americans are dead.
This should have been avoidable and yet the media is attacking Mitt Romney for being “rash” and condemning the actions of these terrorists, and for calling into question Barack Obama’s policies, when they should be asking if Mitt Romney is right and questioning Barack Obama on why he didn’t act to prevent these preventable tragedies.

What do you expect from the “Campaigner in Chief”, he obviously doesn’t have time to be the Commander in Chief, which by the way is his job. Where was Valerie Jarrett who is supposed to be advising him? Does anyone in DC have our backs? Is anyone going to those briefings?

GP, I was thinking the same thing! What a sorry excuse for a CiC this man (term used lightly) is. I had said before it really doesn’t matter if he is at the Intelligence Briefings, because he is only there filling a seat. What I want to know is where were the “real” rulers? Was this in the plans (it would be sick if it was) to have this happen and were these Americans just collateral damage in their whole scheme of things? I fail to see how this will help Obama win the election, but stranger things have happened when the media gets ahold of it and starts their spin along with the talking heads on the tube.

Yes, a poor excuse of CiC if I ever saw one! If this man isn’t up to the task why is he seeking reelection? I don’t like to think that this was part of his plan but I do have to admit the thought has crossed my mind more than once.

I hate our country being caught with their pants down, just because the warning signs were all ignored and shelved away. It’s a shame some of our people had to die because of negligence on the part of the people who should have been paying more attention.

As I surfed MSLSD this morning I heard the rats like Scarborough and Brazinsky and their lefty guests absolve the muslim brotherhood and others for these attacks on america. if these low level collaboratorss are thinking like this imagine what’s going through the traitor in chief’s mind. The question remians: How does he turn this debacle into votes?

On another note, kudos to Obama and his foreign policy for successfully getting the economy off the front pages. Since the american people pay even less attention to international events than to their dissolving economy it appears that Obama’s reelection seems safer than ever. How one prepares for the spanking we are going to get from this pinko after his november victory is hard to say but he will come after our constitution and our freedoms with a vengence. I can understand your being distracted, I on the other hand do not look at her legs, sorry you had to deal with that. FOX has changed, not for the better, I tend to get my info online. Yep, Lock and load, always good to be prepared, might come in handy in the near future. Foreclosures are going up, lack of money increasing, QE coming along with printing more money by the FEDS, no jobs, welfare and food stamps up, what could possibly go wrong with our country? Isn’t everything just fine? If we just give Obama 4 more years, he will take care of it. As you probably know, I don’t like stupid people, how many of them will vote him back into office?

The Hillary Clinton State Department was behind the Arab uprising from the get go. Obama and Hollarry own the so-called Arab Spring. Anyone with their eyes open could have predicted this recent tragedy. If Obama had one iota of love for this country, he would step aside and let an adult take charge.
Obama and Hillary were behind the uprising in North Africa since they took office. They own the “Arab Spring” and anybody with their eyes open could have predicted these attack would happe. But, no, they are all buddy buddy with the Muslim Brotherhood. They should both be charged with treason.

9/12 was my two year anniversary as unemployed. Actually I have been not unemployed since my extended benefits were cut off in July, a result of the NJ economy improving so I am no longer a statistic; just doing my part to improve the job picture. Meanwhile The only job available in NJ has hand or blow in front of it. So with all this time on my hands I go on my computer and watch TV, sometimes FOX and hence cannot avoid all those legs. And I agree that FOX is like kissing your sister (Vince Lombardi).

I know here in Illinois you are lucky to HAVE a job, and given the taxes we pay, we pretty much just give it all away. So, you don’t fit in the stats of unemployed, but in the grey area of no job, no benefits and stopped looking because the jobs are not there! Obama has left that group of stats out, makes it look better that way. I hope at some point you can find work. To hear tell, there is plenty of work here for Americans as well as illegals, right? Look at all those jobs that Americans will not do!!! As for “all those legs”, FOX has a way of posing those ladies, don’t they? I wonder if it ups the ratings?
