Report: The United States had credible information an attack was imminent in Libya and Egypt and did nothing to protect our diplomats
On September 11th, 2012 the United States embassies in Libya and Egypt were attacked and four American diplomats–including our ambassador to Libya–were murdered. At first we were told that these protests were over an anti-Islamic movie that nobody had ever heard of and that the date of the attacks was purely coincidental. The movie was then downgraded to a You Tube video which very few people had seen. This whole story seemed as if it were a cover up meant to downplay the magnitude of the protests attacks. Meanwhile the United States apologized to the attackers and accused an American of abusing his first amendment rights by making Muslims feel bad.
The original narrative began to fall apart soon thereafter when it became apparent that the attack on Libya was well coordinated and planned as a response to the killing of Abu Yahya al-Libi in a drone attack back in June of this year, and for a drone attack which recently killed Mohammed Hassan Qaed, and furthermore the United States was warned the day before that an attack was coming for revenge and still the embassies were left unprotected.
It seems evident to me that if these attacks were coordinated and planned in retaliation for the killing of two al Qaeda leaders that the date of these attacks was also planned and not simply the coincidence the Obama regime would have us believe.
One day isn’t allot of time to prepare against an attack, I will concede that point here but when you take into account the date you have to wonder why the Obama regime was caught unprepared and didn’t automatically send protection into the region even if there were no warning signs beforehand. We should have been prepared for this and we were not.
But it gets worse than that if this report is true:
According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted
The United States had advance warning and credible intelligence that American missions might be targeted and yet nobody who was in imminent danger was warned. Much Like Brian Terry was allowed to walk into an ambush armed with a beanbag gun and not warned of the danger, so too was Chris Stevens and the others, who weren’t warned about the possibility of an attack on September 11th.
Even without evidence of a threat it seems like common sense would dictate that our embassies should be re-enforced on or before September 11th as a precaution, but to do nothing when you have credible intelligence should be criminal.
It might be hard to believe at this point, but the news gets worse still:
The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the “safe house” in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed “safe”.
Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups, while some of the other documents are said to relate to oil contracts.
Because Barack Obama failed to act on credible intelligence top secret documents which have the names of United States citizens, as well as Libyans working with the United States government, have gone missing and nobody is safe. Much like Barack Obama’s leak on the Osama bin Laden killing which led to the capture and imprisonment of bin Laden’s doctor for helping the United States, Barack Obama–this time through his indifference–has put the lives of those foreigners who are willing to help America in jeopardy.
If this report is true it is indefensible and unforgivable. However, Barack Obama does have a defense: He can plead ignorance because he didn’t bother to attend one intelligence briefing during the week leading up to September 11th, so he might be able to make the claim he was unaware of the imminent threat. Of course, that makes him detached, uncaring, and incompetent, but that is the trade off he will have to make for his ineptitude.

You could make a case that things went exactly as Obama wanted. After all, he was the one that preached no country should be above another. His seeming indifference to the events of the last couple of days could be a message to his peons the America has neither the will or the power to defend itself globally. Like any other country.

Sadly I agree, He seems indifferent to what has happened and he is a globalist who believes no country should be better than any other and there is no doubt in my mind that he would like to see America knocked down a peg or two.

I am beginning to believe that things went off “as planned”, it sounds too orchestrated to me. That more people are now in harms way, means nothing to Obama and his handlers. Even a novice, knowing the date that was coming up would have done some prep work, and yet he did nothing. Either we have complete incompetence going on, or we have a bigger problem than we think. Lock down would have been a start, or pulling out our people when the threat came in “might” have been a better idea. 48 hours is a pretty big time frame to take action. I can’t imagine that the higher ups in the military would go along with “no bullets’, but we know how things have changed since Obama took office. IF what Obama is doing is to make us look weak and unprepared, he gets an A+. Once again, we have that collateral loss, move along, nothing more to see. I really dislike this man (term used lightly).

Even if there was no known threat it is common sense to tighten security around September 11th but Barack Obama didn’t do that. At this point we have to question not just his judgement but also his motive.

I think it is fair to ask a couple of questions to President Obama. What did he know about the attacks and when did he know it?

I doubt you will get an answer, Larry! In fact, he would not think he should give an answer, because he sees nothing he is doing wrong. That what he is doing seems normal to him should send up that red flag to alot more people, but it won’t.

The condemnations, apologies and finger pointing continue. It is, according to Hillary Clinton and the Obama regime, all the fault of this *film* and Pastor Terry Jones for his threat to burn Qurans. It is NOT! Muslims are committing acts of violence because that is what they do!
