Romney and Ryan hammer the Obama regime on the Libya terrorist attack while on the campaign trail

October 13, 2012

The mainstream media doesn’t seem to think that a pre-planned and coordinated terrorist attack on the anniversary of September 11th where requests for increased security were denied by the State Department despite  ample warning signs an attack was imminent is a story worth reporting on in depth. Nor does the media seem compelled to report on the lies, contradictory statements, evolving stories, or the cover up the Obama regime is actively engaged in.

Because of this it will be up to Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to compel the media into covering this scandal whether they like it or not by hammering away at the Obama regime for the failings which led up to the attack and the cover up which followed while they are on the campaign trail. And both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan seem more than willing to do so.

Here is what Mitt Romney had to say on the stump yesterday:

Yesterday I raised some questions about Benghazi and the tragedy that occurred there, and there are more questions that came out of last night because the vice president directly contradicted the sworn testimony of State Department officials,” Romney said at an afternoon campaign rally in Richmond, Va. “He’s doubling down on denial, and we need to understand exactly what happened… American citizens have a right to know just what is going on and we’re going to find out

This is what Paul Ryan had to say:

Speaking before a packed crowd Ryan said, “We’re talking about blame. First they blame a YouTube video and a nonexistent riot, then when the country is getting upset about it, they blame Romney-Ryan for getting people upset about it.”

“They keep changing their story. This is not what leadership looks like,” he added.

The Obama camp is not too happy that this story has become a political issue in the election (after all they would never politicize September 11th or something like Hurricane Katrina, right?) and last week Stephanie Cutter made it known by blaming the Romney/Ryan ticket for keeping the story alive. See people wouldn’t care about this if Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan stopped reminding them about it, after all Barack Obama said this attack was only a “bump in the road” so who the hell do Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan think they are turning a molehill into a mountain?

The Obama regime would rather see this story fade away for obvious reasons and the propaganda arm of the Democrat party is all too willing to oblige. It is an unfortunate turn of events for Barack Obama that this attack inconvenienced him while he is trying to win reelection and he would prefer to intimidate the Romney camp into silence, thankfully that doesn’t seem to be working.

We deserve answers but all we have gotten is excuses.

When accused, they deny deny deny. Until they get caught, then they change, change, change? Is this the change obama spoke of? Now if I can just figure out what he meant by hope… Maybe, Hope I don’t get caught?

I like it, I think that must be what he meant by hope because he hasn’t provided Americans with anything to be hopeful for.

I know that for most people the economy and jobs is all they are interested in. Obama knows this and hope the story of his ineptitude will quickly fade away. The tragedy of four dead Americans should be important to all Americans. But, the real tragedy for America is much bigger even than the deaths of these four patriots. Because of the recklessness of the policies of Obama and Hillary Clinton, death may come to many many more Americans in the not too distant future. Romney and Ryan must keep this story alive!

I agree Jim, the economy may be the biggest issue in this election but it isn’t the only issue. If Barack Obama’s foreign policy failures are not brought to the forefront it will result in the death of more Americans in the future. He has failed to protect Americans on foreign soil with his support of the Arab Spring, the Middle East is on fire, and the world is a more dangerous place because of Obama. Joe Biden might think this is funny but all of us who are paying attention fail to see the humor in this.

apparently there has been something more deadly that happened that we won’t know about till after the election. Stakelback on Terror talks about the caliphate within 57 muslim countries that are making clear pathways to shariah law in the european union. By the United States looking weaker in this pathetic admin. we’re well on our way to captivity of multiple kinds. As far as I can see, we’re already in finanicial captivity. Thanks for allowing me to speak my mind because our first amendment is also being lost, and the second, etc.

I hope you are wrong about this but I don’t doubt for a minute it is true. Barack Obama’s foreign policy has now been a disaster. While he can–and does–claim a victory for killing bin Laden his overall policy has made America less safe and a laughing stalk in the Middle East.

if anyone is interested there’s a website tha’t discussing the seriousness of our present status in the world. http://www.actforAmerica.org. I’m not able to donate to the immense amount of fundraising agencies that have bombarded my mail but I do read the different areas of news that I can’t find in my local paper.

Your last sentence sums it up nicely. All we have heard from Obama and company is excuses. They have not been forthcoming with the truth.

In a way, it is sad that the deaths of our people are being highlighted in the middle of this campaign. The Obama campaign are accusing Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan of using them for political gain, but if someone doesn’t raise these questions, then we may never know the truth about what happened. I have no doubt there is more to this story. Otherwise, the Obama administration would not be engaged in stonewalling.

Somebody has to keep the pressure on Obama and Hillary if they are to come clean, I don’t like that it has to be done on the campaign trail, but if that is what it takes so be it. Rest assured that if the shoe was on the other foot the Democrats would be doing the same.
