Gloria Allred heads to court tomorrow in an attempt to unleash an October surprise against Mitt Romney
Rumors have been circulating since last week that Gloria Allred was about to inject herself into the presidential race with an October surprise against Mitt Romney, and if this story is true tomorrow will be the day she makes her move.
According to the story Gloria Allred and the Boston Globe will appear in court in Boston tomorrow in an attempt to have sealed testimony unsealed in some case that Mitt Romney was involved in sometime in the past.
There really aren’t more details at this point than that, but it bears watching because this is the way that Barack Obama won his first election to the Illinois state senate and it is not something he is above doing again if it means holding onto power.
Meanwhile Barack Obama’s whole life story is locked away out of sight other than the history he created for himself in his books.

We knew there was no level to which they wouldn’t stoop. I have no idea how many voters are affected by trash; but I suppose in a close election any affect would be bad.

Mostly this would be red meat for the base, but any moderates and undecided voters that this sways could swing this election back to Obama.

Jim, Obama did it here in Illinois to steal the senate race, would expect that out of him. He will stop at nothing because he has nothing to lose. He has the media to back him up. There are a few jumping ship because they see what is happening and then only because they will have to pay the price. You know those people that will change sides depending on how the wind blows? That is the media. What a joke they have become, hummmm?

Yep, this is part of Obama’s history as you well know Lou and I am not surprised by this move at all. In fact I expected something like this and we know that no matter what Allred comes up with (and if what I am reading is true it won’t be as bad as I thought when I first wrote this) the media will run with it.

Oh good grief. What is she up to? I am hoping it is not going to happen. I can’t help but think if there were really something out there on Romney, it would already be known. I wish she and her kind would just sit down and shut up.

Sounds like it is going to be a thirty year old story about Romney counseling women against having abortions while he was a leader in the church, if this is true it will be a bust.

I just researched the judge. She was just appointed in February by gov patrick deval. She looks almost 25 years of age. Guess we know how this will turn out.

I have no doubt the record will be unsealed but it is starting to look like this is about ROmney talking to women about not getting abortions while he was a leader in the church, hardly a blockbuster. We will have to wait and see.
