Barack Obama shuts down 1.6 million acres to oil shale drilling

November 9, 2012

During the debates Barack Obama made the laughable, ridiculous, and downright asinine claim that he was friendly to the oil and coal industries.

Even his most ardent supporters knew that Barack Obama was lying; he promised to shut down the coal industry, and to date well over 100 coal plants have either gone out of business or announced they will go out of business in the near future. Barack Obama promised the price of energy would “necessarily skyrocket” under his plan and he is doing all he can to ensure that result.

Just two days after winning reelection Barack Obama proved he was just as hostile to the oil industry as the regime announced it was shutting off 1.6 million acres to oil shale development.

Elections have consequences and we got the government we deserve…..

Well, TheAnointed One is not wasting any time, is he? This is just the begining. Wait to you see what the EPA has in store for us. I said it in my post yesterday. One of the options for the House Republicans id unconditional surrender. Give The Anointed One any and everything he wants. I have never been a fan of the idea of a long lingering death. Let’s get it over with. Tax those rich people to hell. When it all comes crashing down, the sixty million idiots won’t be able to nlame on the obstructionist Republicans. It will be all barry’s doing. Then maybe we eill have a sbowball’s chance in hell of rebuilding this once great nation.

No he is not wasting time, he is more flexible now and we are going to see the real Obama now. I have also thought about just giving him everything he wants just to prove the point, once he gets what he wants and it fails perhaps the people will see the light, but I am afraid of what might arise out of the ashes.

Meanwhile Boehner is being Boehner. Selling out with himself and not talking to anyone but himself.

Hopefully someone will run against Boehner, the Republican’s first order of business should be to replace him.

Well im sure the morons who supported Obama will take comfort in the fact that the greedy oil companies are paying their fair share when they are pumping $6 a gallon gas into their cars.

Yep, stick it to the rich even if that means we are the ones who end up suffering. These people just don’t seem to understand that all the added costs are passed on to the consumer and we are the ones who pay for these policies.

We are getting what we paid for, aren’t we? A president that put it out there what he was going to do and STILL they did not believe him. We might as well figure it is going to happen fast, that is how he will implement it. He has nothing to hold him back now. That so many would take him at his “word” is what shocks me, the man (term really used lightly) lies. I know there are some stupid people, but there are a vast majority of them that are NOT stupid and still they voted for him. I have been driving less and less trying to NOT use as much fuel, but when I have to do the St. Louis drive, I don’t have a choice. Illinois has pretty steep taxes on fuel, but when you get to St. Louis and further south, it’s about 40 cents a gallon less. I should MOVE out of Illinois. Nothing good ever seems to happen or come out of Illinois, as you are all seeing now.

Well, at least he didn’t waste any time. Anyone want to place a bet on how long it will take him to permanently bury the Keystone Pipeline?
