Pearl Harbor Day: A date which will live in infamy

December 7, 2012

My apologies for posting this so late today, it has been a busy week but that is a sorry excuse for not getting this up in time.

When Americans went to bed on December 6th, 1941 America was at peace. (Although America was secretly helping the British against Germany the citizenry was unaware.) But when Americans woke up on Sunday, December 7th they learned that war was inevitable because early in the morning Imperial Japan conducted a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor which left 2,400 dead. The wars in the Pacific and Europe became WWII and America was called upon to free the world of tyranny. It was a call which was answered by the greatest generation–a generation which is sadly almost gone.

We must never forget what happened that day and we must never let out guard down again.

I was too late as well. We were in denial. That is what isolationism does.

Yes we were and that is why we were unprepared and we mustn’t be unprepared again as we were on September 11th as well.

I visited the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor once. It was a very emotional experience.

This time, the surprise attack came from within. This time the American electorate never knew what hit them. This time ….. we all lost because of the ignorance of the inner-city American electorate.

Is it ignorance to vote for someone who cares about you when you are not a billionaire? Hardly. And all of us Americans know who we voted for and why. In a perfect world Romney would be eating from a dumpster, and the people who’s jobs he shipped overseas would still have their jobs.

Just be glad Bain didn’t buy the company you work for…..

Josiahe, I was watching a show where some “in the know” political analyists were talking about the presidential election. They said the Obama Campaign had so much dirt on Romney that he never really had a chance. Never. They simply never used any of the dirt because they didn’t want to make it harder to lead after the election. I can see what they were talking about. Romney hurt a lot of people making his millions. I don’t think it would be that hard to make even the half brains understand this….. Just think. Romney’s campaign was a daily disaster. Imagine what a Romney presidency would look like. He would make Bush look like Lincoln…..

It is the enemies within I think we need to watch for… those who would divide us.

Japan did not decide suddenly to attack us, after all.

NO they did not, it was well thought out and planned and we still weren’t ready. We are a divided nation right now and we mustn’t let our division be our undoing.

You mean Fox News and their endless stream of lies and fake outrage Harrison? “It is the enemies within I think we need to watch for… those who would divide us.”

There is nothing on the planet more built to divide us than Fox Lies. In fact I watched Sean Hannity claim that we found WMD’s in Iraq. I watched Oliver North call John Kerry a war criminal on Fox. Really? Testifying that war crimes were committed in Vietnam makes him a war criminal?

Speaking of dividing us having the leader of the Senate say his number one job is to keep a president from being elected is pretty much as dividing as it gets.

Harrison, when you start blaming people for “dividing” America, you point your finger when it needs to be pointed.

“Speaking of dividing us having the leader of the Senate say his number one job is to keep a president from being elected is pretty much as dividing as it gets.”, did you mean Boehner in the House? Harry Reid is the leader in the Senate, I assure you, he did NOT want to prevent THIS president from being elected.
The fact that you think it is FOX that is dividing the country tells me you are extreme left, they are at best, middle ground now. Do you not watch all the other channels of news, OR are those telling us the truth and you won’t complain about them? I don’t watch them OR FOX, I do not trust anything coming from any of the channels. They tell us what we are supposed to believe, I value MY own opinion more than listening to that crap.

The WMD’s which were in Iraq are the very same chemical weapons the Obama regime is telling Syria not to use, that is where Saddam’s weapons ended up.

Citing Sean Hannity is an inherent weakness in any liberal’s argument. This semi- literate stands head and shoulders above any of the weasel-like hyenas populating CNN and MSLSD even though he has a hard time elucidating coherently. Although,I must say, Hannity appears to be a genuinely nice guy unlike those snipes like Sharpton and that clip haired waif Maddow to name a few. Now that the country is morphing into a hernaphrodite, I say that because with the officials we elect from the president on down, we are f___ing ourselves, the time is ripe for a third sneak attack on this nation. One might argue that the aliens from south of the border and the rest if the third world qualifies but since they are not sneaking in but, rather, strolling in and picking up their SS checks and food stamps and voting without citizenship they do not qualify as a sneak attack. Quoting Michael Savage, “Liberalism is a mental disorder.”
