Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were AWOL during the Benghazi attack
Leon Panetta spoke in front of the Senate today about the terrorist attack in Benghazi which left Americans Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods dead and God knows how many survivors hidden from the Congress.
Leon Panetta testified that he only spoke to Barack Obama at a pre-scheduled meeting on September 11th at 5:00, and that he spoke to the president for about fifteen minutes about the attack before moving on to other issues. Barack Obama basically told Leon Panetta he was on his own.
As these four Americans fought for their lives Barack Obama couldn’t even be bothered enough to make a phone call to find out a status on the attack because he had more important things to do. After all, he was tired and needed to get some rest before a major fundraiser in Las Vegas because he was fighting for his political life.
So we now know that apparently Barack Obama had more important issues to deal with but what about Hillary Clinton? Where was she during this attack? Nobody seems to know because much like Barack Obama she didn’t bother to call in and find out what was going on. Leon Panetta and Martin Dempsey never talked to America’s leading diplomat.
Not only did we learn that Hillary Clinton was AWOL during the attack but we also learned that she never requested support in Benghazi before the attack in spite of Chris Stevens’s repeated requests:
Why didn’t you put forces in place to be ready to respond?,” Senator John McCain asked the general.
Dempsey started, “Because we never received a request to do so, number one. And number two, we –“
McCain interrupted, “You never heard of Ambassador Stevens’s repeated warnings?”
“I had, through General Ham,” responded Dempsey, referring to the commander of AFRICOM. “But we never received a request for support from the State Department, which would have allowed us to put forces
He stopped short of blaming the State Department but the implication was there. He did say he heard about Chris Stevens’s requests through General Ham and that is interesting in and of itself when you consider that shortly after the attack the Obama regime relieved General Ham from duty. The cover up continues, but then again what difference does it make…..

Maybe Obama and Hillary were content that everything was going according to plan and din’t need to watch.
Still no one asks about the 33 people rescued from the annex and taken to Germany. Who the hell were they?

I sat through the hearings today. A gluten for punishment. It was the first decent hearings on both matters. Direct questions instead of bloviating and grandstanding. Keep the faith, we might yet get to the truth.

But was it questions only from the right, B? Most the time the left is just singing their praises and I have to turn it off then. They need some direct questions, but it is, once again, just a show for us lowly peons to stay focused on. Sorry you had to watch it at all, but sounds like it might have been a BIT useful.

It’s plain and simple. In this modern age of communication there is absolutely no excuse for Hillary to be AWOL. Lives are at stake. I spent my time in Dung Heaps like that. Never were we without s series of back-up’s. I can only imagine how many calls for extract were ignored.

I think there is some big time CYA going on here! Panetta and Dempsey are worried about their own careers and when that happens people start not being so loyal to someone else. From what all I have read on different blogs, there was massive “drop the ball” in someone elses lap when it comes to Obama and Clinton. Neither one of them had the time OR the experience to do what needed to be done to keep our people safe. This is SO wrong from all sorts of fronts that neither of them should EVER be allowed to make a decision for US in the future. I think that IF the media is finally opening up their eyes, they make turn on Obama, at least a few of them will. Maybe that is all it will take for this administration to start trying to run cover and start making mistakes that hopefully will be put out in the news. I can not imagine he will get away with this, but he has in the past on a massive scale, so I guess we will just wait and see. It IS Friday, so alot can happen over the weekend and people will probably lose interest, seems the way it goes.

Hopefully as the rats start jumping ship someone will spill his guts and we will learn the truth. I think you made a great point about the inexperience of this regime, it really came back to bite us here.(Isn’t that what Biden was supposed to provide?)
Snow is starting to come down heavier but the worst isn’t here yet.

After I posted I had another thought! Isn’t this storm being hyped as the biggest snow storm ever to hit your area? Is it possible that this will be the new “Sandy Hook” on getting the medias attention to focus on something other than that pesky Benghazi thing? Seems like something always comes up that can turn the attention of those idiots that call themselves journalists! This was just a thought, but I bet there will be all sorts of attention on this snow storm now. How lucky for them and unlucky for you. The difference is that the American people as a whole are pretty good at taking care of themselves in an emergency, we can not say the same for the government.
