Where was Barack Obama during the Benghazi terrorist attack?
The question which should be on everyone’s mind about the Benghazi terrorist attack is this: where was Barack Obama during the attack?
During his testimony on the attack Leon Panetta admitted that after he informed Barack Obama of the attack at hie pre-scheduled 5:00 meeting on September 11th that he didn’t speak to the president again that night.
So where was Barack Obama that night and what was he doing that was so important he never called in to see what was going on? The White House isn’t saying:
On Friday morning, CNSNews.com called the White House press office to inquire about where President Obama was, what he was doing, and who he was communicating with, after 5:30 p.m. on the night of Sept. 11, 2012. At 10:29 a.m. on Friday, CNSNews.com followed up by emailing questions to the White House press office.
On Friday afternoon, CNSNews.com additionally followed up by calling the White House National Security Council press office and also emailing that office the questions. CNSNews.com also followed up on Friday afternoon by again calling the White House Press Office and emailing the questions again to that office.
The White House press office Monday morning confirmed receiving the questions but did not have a timetable for when it could provide answers.
It doesn’t seem like it would be too hard for the White House to provide this answer and yet they cannot provide a timetable for when they can release the answer?
We know that Barack Obama had what he considered to be more important things on his mind, namely the fundraiser he had to attend the next day, and it has been rumored that he simply went to bed during the attack to prepare for his busy day on September 12th. We deserve to know if this is the truth because all that we know at this point is that Barack Obama seemed uninterested in the attack which killed Chris Stevens, Glenn Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods and to me that is a dereliction of duty.

With Obama nothing, absolutely nothing comes ahead of campaigning. He is always a politician first and the president second. I suspect if the full truth comes out this will be confirmed.

I appreciate you covering Benghazi as fervently as you covered Fast and Furious. I believe it is an important story, but I haven’t had the time to write a lot about it. Unfortunately, I am afraid we will see the same “zero sum” of results from Benghazi that we have seen from Fast and Furious. Nothing seems to stick to Obama for long, due mainly to the lack of coverage from the media.

If help was just too far away in Benghazi, then how in the hell did a drone aircraft miraculously appear on the site at Benghazi? They only fly at about 200 – 300 miles per hour. Fighter jets fly at 1500 miles per hour. Is it just me, or does everybody not recognize this math? Also Benghazi is right there on the shore. There are too many US aircraft carriers already patrolling those waters over there as that’s where all the trouble is in the first place right?
Anyone know how far it is from Benghazi to Naples Italy? It’s 580 nautical miles. I could fly the Cessna 172 I’ve been terrorizing the skies in recently that distance in less than 4 hours. You do realize we have US military bases in Italy right? How many? 7. Do you know that we have a military base in Greece? Greece to Benghazi? Subtract more than 150 miles.
So in summary I could have flown a single engine Cessna 172 from Greece to Benghazi in 3 hours with fuel to spare and started throwing out pipe bombs, power tools and bacon all over the place potentially thwarting the attack single handedly. Now why is it our “transparent” White House would have us believe there was no help available? I know the answer. It’s because they believe we really are full blown stupid. Are we now?
