Homeland Security admits they do not track illegal immigrants who are receiving welfare
Whenever the subject of comprehensive immigration reform comes up supporters of amnesty tell us that all these immigrants are decent, hard working people who are only looking to better their lives and the lives of their families by doing jobs which Americans won’t do. And in many cases this is true, I will not deny that point here.
But not all of them are; there are many who come here to drop anchor babies, collect welfare, and live off the taxpayer–to think otherwise would be to be naive. But what is the ratio? That is a question of which we know not the answer. And the reason we don’t have an answer is because the Department of Homeland Security isn’t bothering to track those illegals who are on the public dole:
In a response letter to four top Republican lawmakers, the Department of Homeland Security revealed it initiated only one case against an immigrant for becoming a “public charge,” or being primarily dependent upon the government, in fiscal year 2012. The case was later withdrawn.
The department did, however, admit it does not have the data on immigrants who become public charges after gaining entry or a visa
Why wouldn’t DHS be interesting in this data considering becoming a public charge is grounds for deportation? Could it be possible it is because there are more of them than DHS cares to admit and it doesn’t fit the narrative because in reality the more people in America who are dependent on the federal government the better it is for them and the agenda? That seems very likely to me.

WHY DOESN’T DHS TRACK THIS? CLOWARD-PIVEN, THAT’S WHY

Just another way to buy votes with our money. The border has been a sieve for as long as I can remember. Whether we like it or not, this fight is over. The Democrats won! It makes me sick!

I wish I could disagree but I think you are right, with the Republicans ready to cave on this issue we have already lost this fight.

Now, here is something I simply do not understand. Why does our government insist on sweeping things like this under the proverbial rug? Do they believe it will go away if they deny it long enough?

Simply put, it doesn’t fit their agenda and yes they do hope it will go away.
