Racist Democrats attack Marco Rubio for drinking water

February 13, 2013

Democrats have been attacking Marco Rubio for drinking water while giving the GOP response to Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.

That seems like an odd line of attack until you realize this is nothing but a racist attack against a Republican. Think about this for a minute: Water is wet right? It seems to me that this is all code for calling Maro Rubio a wet back. By attacking Marco Rubio for drinking water what they really are doing is attacking him for being a minority and showing their true racist tendencies and beliefs. Democrats do not like the fact that a minority is in a position of power and they are using code words to attack him not because they disagree with his policies but rather because he is Cuban.

This post is sarcasm of course, but it does come with a serious point and  it sure does feel good to throw it back in their faces once in awhile, perhaps they can now understand how it feels to be called a racist simply for disagreeing with Barack Obama’s policies.

Outstanding analogy, connecting all the steps along the way… 🙂

You indeed connected the dots to its logical conclusion. 🙂

There is a Bibical saying something to the effect: before pointing out the splinter in someone’s eye get the plank out of yours. Very fitting here.

Well done, Steve. If they insist on abiding by their liberal logic, then by all means, let’s use it on them.

Rubio is getting mocked for his stretching act because it so strongly distracted his audience. Did anyone see Speaker Boehner drinking water during SOTU? I did. He drank easily from a GLASS of water that had been placed within easy reach so he didn’t have to go through contortions, and then suck the water out of a bottle. It’s what happens when your staff is amateurs.

The other amateurish things about Rubio’s talk, which Rachel Maddow expressed very well, was that he wrote it in anticipation of what he thought the President would say. Then the President failed to cooperate, and the Senator didn’t adjust his speech accordingly. To anyone who actually listed to the speech that the Senator was supposedly rebutting, it was clearly an amateur effort.

Both Senator Rubio and Senator Rand (whose talk I did not watch) fired the opening salvos of the 2016 GOP primary campaign. According to Maddow, both talks were sprinkled with bits and pieces of Mitt Romney’s stump speeches. For all the talk we’re hearing from the Republicans about how they have to change, this is especially disappointing, considering that Mr. Romney was soundly defeated in his bid to unseat the President (for those who haven’t kept up with the news . . .)..

Finally, I thought it was funny when Ms. Maddow pointed out that it was kind of strange to hear Senator Rubio glorifying his neighborhood and his “working class” neighbors, considering he’s currently trying to sell the house so he can move out of the neighborhood. And working class? I don’t know a lot of working class people – think blue-collar – who live in houses that sell for $600k and better.

Take good care, and may God bless us all.
