Afterburner with Bill Whittle: The Shooters
February 16, 2013
Here is the latest ‘Afterburner’ video from Bill Whittle. This one is a little bit different because it isn’t about politics, but rather about the men who put on the uniform and take out people like Osama bin Laden. This, like all the others, is a must see.

How can the Pentagon not understand that we have an obligation to protect and care for our protectors?

A great question Jim and this is an issue that dates back before Obama was president as well.

Very well stated. If I’m not mistaken, I think I saw a tear in Bill Whittle’s eyes. Truly, the men and women who do the things he spoke of, just so the rest of us can live in peace and freedom, are worthy of our highest honor and praise.

They sure are Larry and to think that we are not properly taking care of these people is disgusting!

Reminds one of the wounded warriors programs proliferating because the govt leaves these men and women sucking wind when they return home after suffering the physical and psychological horrors of war. Meanwhile we get to watch the slickly produced commercials about the wonders of the V.A. Makes a soldier want to lose a limb just so he/she can experience one of these efficiently run facilities…

Normally I am for the government staying out of things but in this case these people fight for our country and our country should be taking care of them in return.
