Barack Obama admits his policies are going to make energy more expensive
Now that Barack Obama has been reelected and doesn’t have to worry about running again he is more up front about what his policies will do to the American people.
Last Friday Barack Obama admitted his policies would drive up the price of energy, this is what he had to say:
I have to tell you that there are some Democrats, for example, who represent states or districts that are heavily reliant on old power plants and are more heavily manufacturing based. And the truth is that if you produce power using old power plants, you’re going to be emitting more carbon, but, to upgrade those plants means energy is going to be a little more expensive, at least on the front end.
Of course this comes as no surprise to those of us who have been paying attention because we remember this comment from 2008 when he was running for president the first time:
He told the American people back then what he intended to do and he warned us that his plans would raise the price of energy, but he also promised to shut down coal plants:
This is one promise that Barack Obama has made good on; over 100 coal powered plants have been shut down since Barack Obama took office, and now he is looking to make good on his promise to drive up the price of energy.
So who does Barack Obama’s energy policies hurt the most? Is it the poor? No, they receive government assistance. Is it the rich? No, they can absorb the increase with little change to their lifestyle. It is the middle class whom the middle class warrior’s policies will hurt the most.
And I thought he ran for president to help the middle class?

You are correct. Higher energy cost will hurt the middle class more than the poor or the rich. But then it will hurt everyone because all manufacturing companies will simply pass along the additional cost to the consumers. Higher energy cost will slow economic growth and cause many companies to go overseas. Coal powers America and there is nothing on the immediate horizon to replace it.

I agree! This will hurt everyone and it is something Barack Obama promised he would do, we shouldn’t be surprised bu this, this is one promise he intends to keep.

Barry Soetoro wants to replace everything existing with something “green.” Then he picks companies that fail at making the product and everyone loses. Especially in the pocket book. Just look at the price of gas since in the last two months. Shocking! This turd is so out of hand that I’m actually looking forward to RAPTURE!

You are right on Wendy, how many millions have we already wasted on his green energy initiatives and yet he still plows forward in the face of failure because in the end this is all about controlling the American people.

Just like we warned, Obama is doubling down on his agenda to force Americans to use green energy, even if it bankrupts countless companies and shreds our individual freedoms. His second term is truly going to be worse than his first.
