Then and Now: Barack Obama on sequestration

February 19, 2013

What a difference a year makes: You wouldn’t know it by listening to Barack Obama today with the threat of sequestration hanging over the head of America, but he is the one who proposed sequestration and he is the one who threatened to veto any attempt at avoiding the automatic spending cuts in 2011.

In 2011 he vowed to veto any attempt at getting rid of the spending cuts, claiming there would be no easy off-ramps to avoid the spending cuts.

Now that his sequestration policy is in place and the election is over he has a different position: Now he claims these changes, not well thought through and not phased in properly, will result in impending doom. Seeing as how this is his policy does that not mean he did not think things through properly?

Here is a video that highlights Barack Obama on sequestration then and now:

Obama now see an opportunity to blame the Republicans for any negative effects that sequestration will bring and there will be a downside. Hate to say it, but he is a master politician. Sadly, those in the MSM, will aid him in this effort and that is why it may just work.

While channel surfing this morning I stumbled upon O man speaking today and I had to check my drug supply to be sure I wasn’t hallucinating from an overdose. Un f___g believable. As I wrote in a comment last week the emperor has no clothes.

Looks like Obama will get what he wants again. He wants the military to be gutted. The domestic cuts will be temporary. The military cuts will be permanent, at least while he’s in the White house.

That is the plan, he really doesn’t have a problem with sequestration and in fact I think he wants it, but he wants to be able to shift the blame and that is what he is doing now.

I stand amazed at how easily Obama lies to the American people. With all the evidence available, showing how he supported the sequester, how it was his idea and plan, and now he is against it and trying to blame the Republicans for what is about to happen, and yet the media refuses to call him out on his lies. Far too many Americans believe him and it feels like we are spitting in the wind when we try to show his lies for what they are.

Sadly you are right Larry, Obama is a master at placing the blame on others for his own failed policies and this is made easier by the MSM because they are unwilling to expose him for the fraud and the liar he is.

When most of his followers have the attention span of a 3yr. old with ADHD, it’s real easy for him to lie to them.
