Barack Obama prepares to bypass the Congress on climate change again

March 16, 2013

When the Congress failed to pass cap and trade legislation during his first term Barack Obama famously quipped that there was “more than one way to skin a cat,” and we all know what he meant by that; he was going to use the EPA to bypass the Congress and subvert the constitution through the regulatory process.

This was a proclamation that he reaffirmed during his State of the Union address when he stated, “if Congress won’t act soon to protect future generations, I will.” Well, the EPA has already started making moves to implement cap and trade and at this point there are 200 coal fired plants scheduled to be shut down in the near future.

This may be fulfilling his promise in 2008 to shut down coal plants but apparently the EPA is not completing the destruction of the country quick enough for Barack Obama’s Ayn Randian vision of the United States so he is stepping up his efforts to complete the destruction.

Barack Obama is preparing to tell all federal agencies they must conduct a global warming impact study on all future projects before they are allowed to move forward.

President Barack Obama is preparing to tell all federal agencies for the first time that they should consider the impact on global warming before approving major projects, from pipelines to highways.

The result could be significant delays for natural gas- export facilities, ports for coal sales to Asia, and even new forest roads, industry lobbyists warn.

We won’t even be able to build a road without a study on the impact of this hoax and how do you think the impact study will turn out? We live in a country where road construction can be halted until a single plant is exhumed from the path of a roadway at a cost of $200,000, so I think we know the answer to that question.

If one plant can cost $200,000 to remove think of the added costs to all future projects, this decree will make it too cost prohibitive to carry out many future projects which would make our lives better and that goes for future energy projects as well.

Barack Obama promised America he would drive the coal plants out of existence and he promised the American people his policies would make energy prices skyrocket, and he made these promises before he was elected, perhaps people should have been paying attention because this is the one promise he intends to keep.

I am beginning to realize that Barack Obama is driven by two major themes of ideology. His is a firm believer that the climate change/global warming hoax is real and requires drastic measures to combat. He also believes that the rich are evil and should be punished, in the form of higher taxes. Above all else, these two ideals are entrenched in his very being. Thus, we have seen the attacks on Mitt Romney, as well as anyone else who is wealthy and happens to be a conservative, and now, his second-term push to radicalize our fight against the lies that make up climate change.

I am not sure if any of the elites in Washington actually believe in global warming or if they see it as a tool to control the people, but whatever the reason you are right about Obama. This and the class warfare are two issues that are close to soul.

It really doesn’t matter who leaves his cabinet because they are all interchangeable pieces with the same radical ideology and we will be the losers no matter who he picks.

I don’t believe there is anything in the Clean Air Act or the Clean Water Act that mentions climate change. Therefore, the neither the President or the EPA have any mandate to review for impact on climate change. That will not stop Barack Obama. The Republican controlled House can stop him with their power over the purse. Sadly, they don;t have the spine to do anything. They will continue to let Obama destroy this country.

No there isn’t, but just like anything started by the government, it has morphed and expanded power far beyond what is intended.

Just more red tape, this administration likes that. If they can make our purchase of energy something we can no longer afford, they have done their job. Each time I see a new “appointed” person, I know that they are evil, how can I not think this? Larry, whether he believes it, those are his orders, like them or not. I just do not see an end in sight when the majority of our House and Senate do nothing to stand up for the people. B, I hope this is not the end, but we need a few more like Chaffetz, Lee, Cruz, Rubio and Paul to speak up. We need to get those old suckers out of office and send them packing. You know the ones, McCain, Graham, anyone that wants to just let the Democrats get away with what they are doing. Term limits sound real good, but unless we do something about it, we will have the same old crap and we have run out of time for the games. We knew this was coming, but we did not know it would hit us this fast and this hard. What a vicious person we have in our House.

In the end I think he wants the prices to rise in order to gain support for nationalizing the energy companies. Maxine Waters let the cat out of the bag a few years ago. We now have a few young Senators who look to be ready to carry the new GOP into the future, but I hope it isn’t too late already.

Jim is absolutely correct. There is nothing in the Clean Air Act or Clean Water Act that addresses global warming (They’re now calling it climate change). We should have never allowed this global warming hoax to go on as long as it has. Junk science and fudged numbers are used as the foundation of this scam and now it has made its way in to the text books of our colleges and public schools even though scientific evidence doesn’t support it. Environmental activist use “climate change” to advance anti-liberty and anti-free market policies. Cap and Trade is exactly that because there is nothing in Cap and Trade that reduces carbon. It only shifts money from wealthy nations to poor nations. And this is really what Obama is about. He believes America should pay for what he perceives as sins of colonialism. And everything he does it designed to make us feel the pain of these third world nations. In order from him to accomplish this he must tear down our liberty based institutions and this is one way to do it.

You are 100% right John, cap and trade is simply a redistribution plan disguised as an environmental policy and we even with Climategate proving this was a hoax Obama moves forward because he knows most people don’t even know about the scandal.

Today,St Patricks Say I broke bread with in-laws who are responsible for the destroyer inhabiting the White House. After listening to their carping over the continual high cost of everything from pampers and groceries to pizzas and gasoline then gave them a primer on economics from the runaway printing of money to the difference and effects of being on and off the gold standard to explaining the concept of the velocity of money. And finally after telling them of their coming enslavement at the hand of the Obama cabal I soundly reprimanded them for blindly empowering the coming disaster by voting for this bastard a second time. Surprisingly they did not object but rather, collectively, apologized for their parts in electing an anti-American. I then told them they are too late.

I think we are going to be hearing this alot more, Peter. It is a little too late, isn’t it? That so many could be fooled makes me wonder if they were even paying attention in the first place, or just blindly pulling the lever with the “D” behind the name. Makes you sick, doesn’t it?

No, they weren’t paying attention or they never would have voted for him in the first place.
