The IRS scandal now dates back to 2009
The IRS targeting scandal grows deeper by the day. According to this article a right to life group called the ‘Coalition for Life’ was harassed as far back as 2009, this is in direct contrast to the IRS’s claim during testimony in front of the Congress last week that the inappropriate targeting did not begin until 2010.
Continuing our exclusive coverage of the IRS scandal, FOX19 has obtained documents of a fifth Cincinnati IRS agent who reportedly came after a pro-life group in 2009.
The group was asked about prayer meetings, and the content of signs held up outside Planned Parenthood.
According to documents obtained by FOX19, the group in question is ‘Coalition for Life’, a group based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Coalition for Life stated it was ‘organized for charitable, religious and educational activities’, all of which would allow it to qualify as an exempt organization under 501(c)(3) status.
Over 150 pages of back-and-forth took place in 2009, prior to the dates given by the IRS for when so called ‘rogue’ agents began targeting conservative groups.
The IRS targeting scandal now appears to have begun shortly after Barack Obama was sworn is as president and the question that I have is this: Is this simply an unbelievable and remarkable coincidence or is it part of a more nefarious plot by the higher ups in the Obama regime?

I can’t help but think the IRS scandal is much greater than we first believed. There is too much information coming to light for there not to be much that has yet to be revealed.

This scandal grows by leaps and bounds every day and I still do not think we have scratched the surface yet.

I’m not surprised at all that attacks on right wing groups and pro-life ones began shortly after Obama becoming president in 2009. After all the IRS as well as most government agencies is dominated by those with progressive leanings. After the election of Obama they felt emboldened and released their pent up frustrations that had been building for 8 years during the Bush presidency. That is not to say that those in the White House knew nothing about their actions. I suspect, at the very least they turned a blind eye and at the worse encouraged these activities. There is a systemic problem with most federal government agencies because they are over populated with progressives. And that will be hard to fix.

Ron Russell is right. The governmentt bureaucracies are full of extreme liberals. So, when they finally found one of their own in the White House, they felt they were free to take their revenge on any and all conservative groups and individuals. And, this goes well beyond the IRS, in my opinion.

I am sure it goes beyond the IRS and I wouldn’t be surprised if every agency in the regime has targeted conservatives to one degree or another, it is just that the IRS has the most power over us that makes it the most scary.
