Open thread for Sunday, June 9th: Electric Eye

  If you are new here and you were looking for a link to subscribe to the blog via email you may have noticed there was no link available over the last week. That is because America’s Watchtower was hit by some type of spam and received almost 200 fake followers, so I was forced to remove the link in order to let the spam die down. The link is now available once again and you can subscribe via email by clicking on the link to the right.

  I have been unable to determine where the spam was coming from but thought nothing of it until after we learned the extent the federal government was monitoring phone, email, and the internet and now I am wondering if that had anything to do with it because it was quite coincidental. Could this small time blogger with a modest readership be part of a larger ongoing effort? It is highly unlikely, but now that doubt will always be in the back of my mind.

  And speaking of domestic spying; that leads me to this week’s musical selection. This is a song I have used once in the past but it seems appropriate to resurrect it here today.
