John McCain admits no borders will ever be secured

June 12, 2013

There is a commercial running in the Boston area, and I believe all other major markets, with Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan which talks about the Gang of Eight’s immigration plan which frames the plan as a conservative approach to illegal immigration.

In this commercial they claim that the borders will be secured before amnesty is granted, however he recently revealed that it is simply not true, amnesty will be first followed by border security. Where have we heard that promise before? Oh yeah, the last two times the federal government passed immigration reform. I guess we are supposed to believe it will be different this time.

And now John McCain is on record admitting that no border will ever be secure. Perfect! The Republicans, in an effort to win over the minority vote, are thinking about what is best for the party and not what is best for the country and this is precisely what is wrong with Washington D.C.

Ad a border state senator for last hundred years this one armed sack of shit has aided and abetted the illegal community. And now Rubio has been taken under his wing- pun intended. As you know Steve, from day one I have ranted on this blog that Rubio, if not Menendez himself then he us a reasonable facsimile thereof. Here in NJ those of us not of the government handout community can spot a phony Cuban from a mile away. Rubio, Ryan, McCain et al are birds of a feather as they do their appointed rounds to ensure Hillary or any other democrat wins 2016 in a cakewalk. Que lastima….

Sadly there are too many of them who seem to feel they can win over the minority vote if they go along with this and all they really care about it themselves and not what is best for America.

Can the GOP really be so stupid as to believe this amnesty plan is going to help them win elections? It will help Democrats win elections,, as if they needed any more help.

Both sides of the immigration debate are focused on the wrong issues. The larger problem is Mexico. Until we get tough with Mexican officals we won’t solve the immigration problem. Drug enforcement south of the border should be a major priorty. The US needs to target the carteels. Use drones to take out the leaders and disrupt the organizations. If the NSA has all this wonderful surveillance ability then it needs to be used in Mexico. Political corruption also needs to be dealt with. The CIA needs to infiltrate and expose corrupt individuals. Economically Mexico has to many workers and not enough jobs. Maybe by ending corruption and using the money on the economy less people will want to leave.

States like Arizona should be allowed to use their police to detain suspected illegal aliens. Arizona SB 1070 should be the model legislation for state enforcement. The debate on this bill was biased because even th e conserative reporters keep refering to it as an immigration bill and is not. States need to be allowed to do more.

    Chris,
You’re absolutely correct. Everything you suggest is so obvious as to be understatement. The sad truth is that rational solutions are in no one’s self interest. If either Mexico or the U.S. wanted to stop the drug trade every member of the drug cartels would be dead by this weekend. Again, that poor excuse for a senator and american citizen John McCain, totally out of touch yet powerhouse in the senate has done nothing nada for his home state of Arizona as his state is turned into a cesspool contaminated by drugs and illegals.Along with grandstanding jerks like Peter King, R-NY, he stands as a shining example of what is wrong with this country and the Republican Party.

Now, I am sure none of us HERE believe for a moment that the border will be secure, right? Ever! We have National Guard that “could” do drills along the borders, but that would be too easy. There are a lot of ways they could handle this. They do not now or ever will be putting any closing of the borders into play, it is not in their plans. Yes, more illegals getting benefits is a BIG incentive to hopping across the border and coming to the sanctuary states…we here in Illinois have open arms when it comes to alleged illegals (our Gov. calls them migrant workers)…we have welcome mats put out for them as they enter the state. When the state employees that take care of the rest stops along our highways are held at knife point by “alleged illegals”, that is getting pretty bad. I am tired of hearing how they are going to close the borders as the first thing they do when we pass the “bill”, frankly their word doesn’t mean shit to me….liars! How many times do we have to be lied to before it sinks in?? I do not know, because apparently there are still a vast majority out there that still take them at their word….doesn’t matter the party they are with, minus a few that have our best interest at heart.

McStain indeed. This guy is a dolt and I wonder what Arizona’s governor thinks of his remark.

He should have said until the political will exists no border will ever be secure.

I am not sure what is going on in Jan Brewers mind these days, she is backing Obamacare now??? I just do not think that the borders will ever be closed, they could be, there are ways to do it, but the Administration doesn’t want it to happen. It is not just the Democrats, it also is Republicans, as well. Bring in the Syrians and we might as well just say “the hell with it” and let anyone in that wants to come, we might have a few more dollars floating around somewhere that the Givernment can suck out of us. Oh ya and John McCain is one of the best reasons for term limits I can think of.

We are seeing more and more Republicans jumping ship and siding with the Democrats ahead of the 2014 election and my senator, Kelly Ayotte, is the perfect example. They seem to be making a political calculation instead of doing what is best for the American people and while they think this might help them politically they are only cutting their own throats. Conservatives stayed home instead of voting for Romney and these actions by so-called Republicans are ensuring they will stay home next year as well. And to be honest the Republicans deserve the drubbing they are going to get in 2014.
