Is Barack Obama collecting financial data on Americans without a warrant?

June 28, 2013

Remember earlier this year when Maxine Waters claimed that Barack Obama was building a database on every single American the likes of which has never been seen before?

Since she made that statement we have learned about the data mining of millions of phone calls as well as the monitoring of emails and internet usage, and we already were aware of the 20,000 drones which will be circling the cities by 2020 and it is only a matter of time before the government has access to our healthcare records so it appears as if almost every aspect of our personal lives will be subjected to some type government interference. The right to privacy will soon only apply to a woman when she wants to have an abortion.

But the news may be getting even worse because according to this article ‘Judicial Watch’ has obtained records from the ‘Consumer Finance Protection Bureau’ which shows this board has been collecting the personal financial records of millions of Americans (without their knowledge) for the purpose of conducting some study:

The full extent of the CFPB personal financial data collection program is revealed in a document obtained by Judicial Watch entitled “INDEFINITE-DELIVERY INDEFINITY-QUANTITY (IDIQ) STATEMENT OF WORK.” According to the IDIQ document’s stated Objective: “The CFPB seeks to acquire and maintain a nationally representative panel of credit information on consumers for use in a wide range of policy research projects… The panel shall be a random sample of consumer credit files obtains from a national database of credit files.”

To accomplish this objective, the CFPB describes the scope of the program accordingly:

The panel shall include 5 million consumers, and joint borrowers, co-signers, and authorized users [emphasis added]. The initial panel shall contain 10 years of historical data on a quarterly basis [emphasis added]. The initial sample shall be drawn from current records and historical data appended for that sample as well as additional samples during the intervening years [emphasis added] to make the combines sample representative at each point in time.

When you couple all of this information gathering with the news the IRS has been targeting groups which oppose the president, and with the news the Injustice Department has been targeting the media outlets and the reporters  who are critical of the president it becomes clear that the United States is slipping into a soft police state.

The only question is; how long will this police state remain soft?

That is a question many of us have been asking, Unfortunately not enough. If Snowden ever gets out of the Russian airport we might even find out more. I agree, the idiot savant Maxine gave the sorry story away. Pretty soon the Generals might sing. They are going after another one today. The military just might get fed up. If not, then we are done for sure.

I think Obama probably targeted his generals looking for dirt. We had Petraeus and the generals who tried to help in Benghazi removed from their positions, there is no doubt in my mind they found out about Petraeus’s affair by spying on him. He has been decapitating the military leadership and may start spilling the beans if this story keep growing.

From NSA. “For security reasons, it is unrealistic to expect a complete list of information we collect for our national citizen database. In the spirit of openness and transparency however, here is a partial list: …
online purchases and auction transactions, bookstore receipts, credit card/ debit card transactions, bank statements, cable television shows watched and recorded
commuter toll records, border crossings, surveillance cameras
medical information including diagnoses and treatments, prescription drug
guns and ammunition sales, educational records, arrest records,

Inlight of what we already know

Obama Care allows the IRS collect and share information between the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the several states, The IRS will be assisted by the new Federal Data Services Hub.

From the NSA website “For security reasons, it is unrealistic to expect a complete list of information we collect for our national citizen database. In the spirit of openness and transparency however, here is a partial list:
•internet searches •online purchases and auction transactionsbookstore receipts
•credit card/ debit card transactions •bank statements •cable television shows watched and recorded •border crossings •medical information including diagnoses and treatments
•prescription drug purchases •guns and ammunition sales.

This seems like more of the same from the dictator in charge. I’m afraid to ask how they plan to stay in power after their term supposedly expires?

It seems to me that every time our government conducts a study, the American people have to pay for it, in more ways than one.
