Michelle Obama likens life in the White House to being in prison

Earlier today Michelle Obama compared her life in the White House to being in prison:
There are some prison elements to it,” she joked. “But it’s a really nice prison
You can’t complain,” Michelle Obama admitted. “But there is definitely elements that are confining
Oh, woe is her! Life must be difficult on her as she parades around the globe on numerous taxpayer funded vacations. Of course this isn’t surprising coming from the woman who claimed she was never proud of her country during her adult life until her husband became a legitimate presidential candidate.
I guess this explains her need to take all these vacations, she sees it as a sort of work release program.

I saw that quote earlier and wrote a short post with cartoons attached. Like you say, Poor Michelle! Wonder what she would really look like in stripes? When I first read this story I thought about a short poem I wrote many years ago entitled “Absurd Things”. Just a couple of related lines, “Convicts on a world wide cruise, and Arabs kissing Jews”. Sure you see why I thought of that old poem.

It is clear that Michelle is a person who will never be happy with her lot in life and that is sad because of all this country has given her over the years.

It is called “entitlement”, Steve….most of us have grown up, become adults and deal with things accordingly. Cannot say the same about what we have in the White House. Guess we OWE them something that they will never be satisfied with, no matter how much they get.

There should have been a major rebellion over the closing of it to the public. It is THE PEOPLE’S House, NOT theirs. These two pretenders have got to go. We can’t take another 4 years of their destruction of America!!!

You are right, in the grand scheme of things this is not high priority. Which is why I dedicated so little time to it (although I thought the work release line was a great line) and this is why I posted it after covering a much more important issue. But it does give us a glimpse into the heart of the people running this country and coupled with previous comments both have made about America and Americans there is a track record there which should not be ignored.
