Benghazi: Colonel Bristol to testify tomorrow

July 30, 2013

The House had been seeking the testimony of Colonel George Bristol in regards to the Benghazi terrorist attack for quite some time but nobody knew where he was and the Pentagon would not say. The Pentagon claimed that because Colonel Bristol was retired he could not be compelled to testify in front of the Congress.

If Colonel Bristol was indeed retired that would be true, but unfortunately is was not true. The Pentagon lied to hide Colonel Bristol from the investigation: yes it is true he is retiring, but no he is not yet retired.

Colonel Bristol is set to retire at the end of July and the Pentagon was trying to delay the investigation long enough to allow Colonel Bristol enough time to retire, and at that point he could not be compelled to testify.

But the Pentagon fell one day short in their nefarious attempt to delay the investigation and on his last day on the job Colonel Bristol will testify in front of the  House Armed Services subcommittee.

  That’s the good news.

But what will come from this testimony? In my opinion nothing and here is my reason why: By delaying the testimony for as long as they did the Federal government was given extra time to dig up dirt on this man, and I would not be surprised at this point if they are now holding something over his head.

Sound crazy? Don’t rush to judgement.

We know that the NSA spying program targeted members of the Congress, at least one Supreme Court Justice, and military leaders. General Petraeus’s affair was uncovered through his personal emails and I contend he was more than likely  a victim of the NSA. Chief Justice Roberts changed his Obamacare decision at the last minute and I believe it is quite possible he was also a victim of the NSA.

So knowing what we know now is it all that unlikely that the Federal government has been able to persuade Colonel Bristol to remain silent for his own good?

While I hope that something comes out of his testimony tomorrow I am not hopeful for we have seen what the Obama regime is capable of when it comes to protecting the Dear Leader.

I hope it is an open hearing. I had not heard about it. There is another one who lasted the 20 hours on the roof before he was rescued. Hope he gets to talk as well.

From what I understand it is a members only meeting, and that makes me even more suspicious.

It will be interesting to see what Colonel Bristol has to say about Benghazi. I would hope he retains his integrity and tells the truth. However, if the Obama administration has even a little dirt on the man, it may be hard for him to do so.

I hope so too as well Larry, but we have seen the way the Obama regime operated and I don’t put anything passed them at this point.

This colonel along what seems to be a majority of the military brass are either in the PC camp or protecting their pensions or their post retirement options with government contractors or the regime has compromised them with dirt of one kind or another. This is just one more military man soon to be relegated to the dust bin of coulda’ been heroes. If this looks bad just wait till the militant feminists finish their takeover of the military command structure. In the end we will learn little if nothing about the Benghazi debacle and the world’s smartest woman will be munching carpet in the Oval Office in 2017.

Sadly you are right, the PC movement has gained a foothold in the military and I think it probably does have quite a bit to do with protecting their pensions. There is no doubt in my mind Obama is holding this over their heads.

It;s Wednesday afternoon and I’ve seen nothig reported by Fox on the Colonel’s tedtimony. We have to eonder if the NSA has supplied Obama with dirt to be used to keep him tauting the party-line. Let’s hope not.

Unfortunately the meeting was behind closed doors so unless and until someone who was at the meeting decides to talk we will learn nothing about it.
