Benghazi: John Boehner is suppressing information on the attack to hide his involvement

August 6, 2013

Democratic pollster Patt Caddell appeared on Fox News and during this interview he made the claim that John Boehner is purposely trying to suppress information about the attack which left Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith dead in order to hide the fact that he knew all along the CIA was running guns captured in Libya into Syria:

We have John Boehner, who has been purposely suppressing anything about Benghazi because he knew what we found out this week. And he approved it

I understand that many conservatives will try to discredit this claim by stating that Caddell is a Democrat operative and is simply trying to spread the blame around, but I happen to believe him in this instance.

John Boehner is nothing but an elitist, ruling class Republican who cares more about retaining power than he cares about doing what is right by the American people and he actually has a history of stonewalling investigations into the Obama regime’s scandals, he did the same with Fast and Furious, so this is not surprising to me in the least.

John Boehner is part of the problem in Washington: Washington is infested with power hungry politicians who put personal gain and personal politics before anything else and if it is true that he knew the United States was illegally running guns into Syria he need to be help accountable along with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

We have four dead Americans as a result of this policy and the inaction of the Obama regime and to think that someone like John Boehner is more interested in protecting himself than getting to the truth tells me everything I need to know about this man. But then again, he already knows the truth, he just doesn’t want the American people to learn the truth.

This is more proof that it is time for a special select committee to investigate this scandal, but unfortunately this is also proof of why there seems to be little support for a select committee on the behalf of the Republicans. John Boehner can pay all the lip service to this scandal he wants, but his inaction on this scandal speaks louder than his words and now we know why.

If Boehner knew then the other leaders in Congress knew. But this assumes BO or Hillary talked to Congress and BO’s normal SOP is not to talk to anyone. He feels Congress is beneath him. The Reps need to come clean and tell the American public what they know and when did they learned of it. Full disclosure now.

That is a good point! Obama does not like the Congress and it is more than possible he did this without their knowledge, but it certainly seems as if they are unwilling to go after this full bore. And if they are innocent you would think they would be all over this.

Thanks and you are right, at this point the Republicans are not any better than the Democrats. At this point they might even be worse because we know who the Democrats are, but the Republicans are still pretending to be something they are not.

I don’t know if Boehner knows what went down in Benghazi, As Chris pointed out in his comment, that would have required Obama to brief Congress on what really happened. That just doesn’t sound like Obama.

Having said that, Boehner does need to go. He is worse than useless, he is a danger to conservatives.

Since the RNC will not contest the leadership it is up to the Tea Party in Ohio to find a candidate. At least KY & SC are finding people to contest McConnell and Graham

Exactly Chris! It is time to primary him with a legitimate candidate and get him the hell out of there.

Boehner is part of the problem Larry and until people step up to challenge these people we will continue down this same path.

Follow the money. This cocktail snorting sniffling stumblebum could become the Joe Scarborough of the next Clinton administration. I blogged my distrust of him since day one of his speakership and sadly he continues to justify our distrust of him. We should stop referring to Boehner as Boner because it’s insulting to hard- ons everywhere.

The man cannot be trusted, I gave him a chance and he has failed us. Republicans should have removed him from the Speakership when they had the chance, but being an insider he had too much influence over the party and he prevailed. It is time for somebody new to go to Washington and help Cruz shake the foundation of the Republican party.

    Steve,
The only shaker to speak of is Chris Christie, who in the words of the great Bob Grant is a fake, phony and a fraud. The Incredible Bulk is a duplicitous, opportunistic quasi- socialist in quasi- conservative clothing. It’s hard to say what damage he would cause if set loose in Washington but with the MSM in his hip pocket… The republican party has marginalized the Tea Party and once it can figure out the correct strategy to do so it will defang Cruz and those of his ilk. Paraphrasing you Steve, the GOP is not the answer, a third party is the answer so bring on the Federalistas!!!

Haha, tell us what you really think of Christie, Peter! I totally agree with what you said, he is a camera hog and so dramatic! People like that over the “blah” candidates, doesn’t make him better, just more entertaining.

The enemies of the Republican establishment are not Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, but rather Cruz, Paul, and Lee and they will do whatever they can to silence them. Do not forget that it was the Republicans who redistricted Allen West into a more liberal district. They silenced him and the will silence the others. It is time to join the New Federalist party my friend!

It was never meant to make a career out of being a Senator or Representative. I fully believe they should make a “living wage” and not more than that and to know there is a time frame they will have to do any “changes” WE want, then it is back to the general population and their real job. For us to pay retirements for them is also ridiculous. That they make more money than we do and we pay their wages, is just plain wrong. It is also wrong to lord it over us as if THEY are the ones in control, how arrogant that is. Oh, Wendy, call me Lou.

Congress maneuvered Obama to give them their health insurance back without taking a vote. Just what did that cost them? Maybe Benghazi?

Bunker, other than a handful of them, I don’t trust the rest, they are out for their own benefit, not ours. Benghazi would be a big bargaining chip, wouldn’t it?
