Michael Hastings was working on a report about CIA Director John Brennan when he was killed
Please allow me to put on the tinfoil hat for a moment.
I have not written anything on the mysterious death of Michael Hastings but I am one of thousands of Americans who felt all along there was something suspicious about the timing of his death.
Shortly before his death he sent out an email which basically said he was fearful of his life because of a story he was working on and he declared he needed to go off the radar for a little while:
Hey [redacted] the Feds are interviewing my “close friends and associates.” Perhaps if the authorities arrive “BuzzFeed GQ,” er HQ, may be wise to immediately request legal counsel before any conversations or interviews about our news-gathering practices or related journalism issues.
Also: I’m onto a big story, and need to go off the rada[r] for a bit.
He was dead within a day. This has always had me thinking that there was more to this story than we were being told. Vehicles do not typically explode when they are involved in an accident, that is usually reserved for Hollywood movies and networks looking to falsify an investigative report by rigging a vehicle to explode, but even much less common is a vehicle’s engine being thrown 100 feet in an accident.
Adding fuel to the fire (pardon the pun) is this report that Michael Hastings was actually working on a story which would have outed CIA Director John Brennan for targeting journalists critical of the Obama regime and now you have a full blown (sorry about the pun again) conspiracy theory.
San Diego 6 News also reported on a purported email from a CIA contractor which said Brennan was behind “witch hunts of investigative journalists” and someone from the White House was targeting anyone printing material “negative to the Obama agenda.”
How ironic is it that a man who was set to reveal the CIA was going after journalists critical of the Obama regime died within 24 hours of telling people in emails that he was fearful of his life? Too ironic if you ask me.
Where is Andrew Breitbart when you need him? Oh yeah, he just happened to die suddenly after stating he had tapes which would bring down Barack Obama before the 2012 election.

perhaps Snowden took this little “accident” to heart when he skipped the country?

Yeah, he was the smart one.

He joins the ranks of Vince Foster, Ron Brown and others who were better off dead than alive for the corrupt purposes of the party of the people.

It sure seems that way!

Another “questionable” moment in this Administration. I do not believe for a instant that this was a freak accident, I believe that it was planned. Now, it is another one of those “in your face” dare to blame them sort of accident. Bold and arrogant are the words I would use for the Administration, they believe that nothing will ever touch them as long as Holder is in power and Obama covers for him. They sure have a good thing going so far, don’t they? All it will take is one person to step forward and take them down, where is he/she?

So far nothing as stuck to them so I understand why they feel they will never get caught. There are too many “questionable” moments from this regime for them all to be mere coincidences.

You and I are on the same page! Just caught your post. Stratfor is no small thing to have an e mail of. Dangerous times my friend.

Then there is Extortion 17 and the murder of Chris Kyle, I find both of these to be suspicious. Dangerous times indeed!

This isn’t tin foil hat stuff, Steve. This is obvious. This was a statement to the press by “the Company”. Just like Breitbart.

I don’t know… this is kind of like that whole Vince Foster thing.
I tend to believe people are too stupid and when you need a lot of people to pull something off nobody can keep silent so I tend to reject conspiracy theories.

It’s only a theory until proven a fact.

I would agree with you on conspiracies like the 9/11 truthers, that was simply too big for the government to pull off. But in this case we are simply talking about one man, one car, and one bomb, and I think it would be quite easy for the CIA to pull this off.
