MSNBC host wonders why the right is determined to make the Christopher Lane shooting about race

August 22, 2013

Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection strategy was clear: he determined the best way to win reelection was to divide and conquer so he ran what might be the most divisive campaign in history by purposely pitting black against white, rich against poor, man against woman, and gay against straight.

This was never more evident than when the president injected himself into the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case before any of the facts in the case were known. The mainstream media, including the propaganda arm of the Obama regime, MSNBC ran with it. They took a look at George Zimmerman’s name and assumed he was white and then accused him of hunting down a black man for sport. Once they learned that Zimmerman was actually Hispanic they created a new term–White Hispanic–to describe Zimmerman in order to keep the racial aspect to the story they so longed for alive.

Needless to say, because of the vitriol from the left and the mainstream media (I repeat myself!) once George Zimmerman was found not guilty it helped to fan the flames between the races as minorities thought that justice was not served.

In recent days we have seen two horrific and nonsensical killings: first we had the three bored black teenagers who picked out a random white person and killed him in cold blood just to watch someone die, and a short time ago we learned that two black teenagers randomly selected an 89 year old white WWII veteran and beat him to death.

We do not know all the details in these cases but one has to wonder if there was not some thought about seeking justice for Trayvon in these two cases. I do not think it is going over the top to wonder if this is the case even thought it might turn out not to be the case. Maybe these cases were not racially motivated but it is something that need to be investigated as the law enforcement officials move forward.

MSNBC host Joy Reid does not see it that way for she wonders why the right is so determined to make the Christopher Lane killing about race. She is not even interested in even considering this a possibility.

I find this position to be interesting to say the least considering the mainstream media was so determined to make the Trayvon Martin killing about white on black crime that they ignored the fact this case was between two different minorities. The hypocrisy is glaring although not unexpected. According to people like Joy Reid it is racist to think that the Zimmerman case was not about race and it is also racist to think that the Lane killing might have been about race, for that is what she was alluding to with her comments.

In this case we are not supposed to mention the races of the people involved and we all know the reason why. The White House refused to weight in on the Lane killing because the investigation is still ongoing, but that did not stop Barack Obama from making a statement in the Zimmerman case and we are not supposed to question why?

I would ask Joy Reid why the left is so unwilling to make the Lane killing about race when they were so eager to make the Zimmerman case about race but that would simply be a rhetorical question.

“According to people like Joy Reid it is racist to think that the Zimmerman case was not about race and it is also racist to think that the Lane killing might have been about race…”

I am sure that is received by any liberal as perfectly logical. They are the masters of spin. It helps that they have no scruples.

The hypocrisy continues to thicken. They are bending themselves over backwards to make sure this isn’t about race. Why, you ask? Because making it about race would hurt the cause of the national outrage industry. It wouldn’t look good if it became public knowledge that a black person actually killed someone because they were not black. Or rather, because they were white. Thus, we are seeing a smoke screen to keep that from happening.

I’ve got news for them. We aren’t going to allow that to happen. I haven’t had time to write more about the issue, but I plan to do just that. Keep pointing out the truth, Steve.

      “National outrage industry”
I like that, it sums up what this is all about nicely.

My hope is that they are taking this whole thing a bridge too far whereby even the low info folks may catch on that they are being played.

It seems to me as if they are taking this too far, the only question is: do these people care they are being played or are they willing to be played to forward the leftist agenda?
