Syrian rebels capture Christian village, demand conversion or death

 Just last week John McCain tried to convince us that the al-Qaeda rebels in Syria were moderates, here is what he had to say:

Of course they’re Muslims. But they’re moderates, and I guarantee you they are moderates. I know them and I’ve been with them.

  This is John McCain’s “I looked into Putin’s eyes” moment, does he really think they would show their true colors while meeting with him? After all, the Nazis put on a good face for the 1936 Olympics, as did Beijing in 2008, but that was just camouflage and nobody can deny the evils endured under these brutal regimes. Naturally the al-Qaeda rebels would put on a good face if they want to have any hope of drawing the United States into the war on their behalf.

    John McCain is being played for the fool he is and just one week after making that absurd claim he was exposed. The very same moderates that John McCain and Barack Obama support captured a Christian town and are demanding all the Christians in that town convert to Islam or be beheaded:

They shot and killed people,” he said. “I heard gunshots and then I saw three bodies lying in the middle of a street in the old quarters of the village. Where is President Obama to see what has befallen us?” Another witness stated, “I saw the militants grabbing five villagers and threatening them and saying, ‘Either you convert to Islam, or you will be beheaded

  They sure sound moderate, don’t they? And these are the people on whose behalf we are about to support when and if we interfere in the Syrian civil war.
