The Obama regime cannot link Bashar Assad to the use of chemical weapons in Syria
Barack Obama has been claiming that Bashar Assad used chemical weapons on his own people and he has used this for justification to involve the United States in the Syrian civil war.
But while claiming to have evidence which proves Bashar Assad used these weapons Barack Obama has refused to release the evidence to show the American people he is telling the truth, instead telling the people to read an op-ed piece by a now discredited secret operative of the State Department, Elizabeth O’Bagy. There are reports out there that it was actually the al-Qaeda rebels who used the chemical weapons in an attempt to draw the United States into conflict on their side, and I just happen to believe these reports.
Now we may know why Barack Obama has been reluctant to show the American people the documents which implicate Bashar Assad in the chemical weapons attack; the Obama regime does not have the proof that Bashar Assad ordered the attack, hence the focus on the op-ed piece.
U.S. intelligence has yet to uncover evidence that Syrian President Bashar Assad directly ordered the chemical attacks last month on civilians in a suburb of Damascus, though the consensus inside U.S. agencies and Congress is that members of Mr. Assad’s inner circle likely gave the command, officials tell The Washington Times.
The Obama regime has naturally begun to spin this in their favor by claiming that because this proves Bashar Assad might not have total control over the weapons the Obama regime has claimed he used, we must act to prevent the weapons from falling in the wrong hands.
The “responsibility for the Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons on Aug. 21 rests on his shoulders whether he ordered the attack or not,” one U.S. official said, summarizing the assessment of intelligence agencies. “Nobody doubts that Syrian military leaders report to Assad.”
As far as I know, there’s no intelligence that links [Mr. Assad] directly to the operation, so that does raise the question of command and control
If there was a rogue general that did it on his own accord, that would be a bigger problem for Assad, because that would imply that he does not have control of his own weapons
So now it does not matter who used the weapons, according to the Obama regime. While the Obama regime is now claiming this might be the work of rogue generals in the field (where have we heard that argument before) they are also worried that if the Assad regime does not have control over the weapons they may fall into the hands of the al-Qaeda rebels
Apart from concerns about weapons falling into the hands of such Sunni extremist and al Qaeda-linked groups as the al-Nusra Front, there are also concerns about serious hurdles now likely to lie ahead for the international community trying to assemble a special team to work with Mr. Assad on securing his chemical arsenal.
This, of course, leads us to the obvious questions; if the Obama regime is so concerned about the al-Qaeda rebels gaining access to the chemical weapons (if they do not already have them) why would we enter the war on their side if they are so untrustworthy? Why would we make it easier for them to procure the weapons we are supposed to be securing?
According to this report all we know is that somebody used chemical weapons in Syria, but we do not know who; it could have been Bashar Assad, it could have been a rogue general in the field, or it could have been the al-Qaeda rebels Barack Obama so desperately wants to support.
I think it is pretty obvious why the most open, honest, and transparent administration in history has decided not to release the documents it claims link the Assad regime to the use of chemical weapons–the link simply is not there.

Not having evidence hasn’t stopped O, his administration, or some elected officials from proclaiming, time after time, that Assad did it.

And they will keep on claiming it as well, this won’t stop them.

I don’t believe this war issue is over. He will be looking for another excuse and I don’t doubt he will find one. Nothing easier than creating another false flag.

I don’t think it is over either, Obama has a hidden interest over there and I know that somewhere down the line there will be another “outrage” which will require US intervention.

For various reasons they apparently want a war. Many of us have different suspicions, but I do believe he will shoot off some missles. His ego won’t let him get taken for the ride Putin has him on.

I agree, he wants to attack Syria and I believe he will find a reason to before all is said and done.

This appears to be another example of how the foreign policy of the Obama administration reminds me of the wind vanes we used to see on top of old barns. Whatever direction the wind came from, that’s the direction the wind vanes would blow. That describes the Obama administration to a tee.
