Government shutdown: Barack Obama orders 22 privately run campgrounds in New Hampshire to close

October 6, 2013

For those of you who are not from New Hampshire (which would be almost all of you) the economy of what we refer to as the north country is basically reliant on two seasonal activities; skiing and leaf peeping. It goes without saying that during the Winter months skiing is a major attraction, drawing thousands of visitors to the White Mountain region, but thousands also travel north during the Fall months to check out the foliage.

The leaf peepers come to our state from all around the region and they purchase goods at our stores, eat in our restaurants, and sleep in our various lodgings, but this year it will be different because Barack Obama has ordered all 22 campgrounds located in the White Mountain National Forrest closed down even though they are privately run.

There will still be campgrounds which are not located on federal land open but this will still put a major dent in this state’s economy, which is the desired effect of an Obama regime hellbent on making the government shutdown as painful as possible on the American people.

And this is not limited to New Hampshire as we have seen the Obama regime order private businesses on federal land shut down all across the country. While it is unprecedented, historically these private businesses have been allowed to stay in operation during previous government shutdowns,  I cannot say that the federal government does not have this justification. After all, these businesses are on federal land and that is where the real problem lies.

Here is a map which shows us how much land within the states is owned by the Federal government:

Map_of_all_U.S._Federal_Land

As you can see, parts f every state, and most of the west, belong to the Federal government and that is where the problem really lies. The states have ceded land to the Federal government because of the lure of free money when the states would have been better served to take care of these lands themselves.

When you give up a little bit of authority to the Federal government, however well intentioned you were at the time, it comes with strings attached. And that is the fact that you no longer control these lands within your borders, the Federal government does, and they will hold that money over your head to make you comply with their will. That means the states have given up a little sovereignty for a little security and this is the risk that is run. The fact is that we have never had a president as vindictive as Barack Obama in out nation’s history, and he is using everything at his disposal to make this shutdown as painful as possible on the American people, and the economy of the states, as possible.

It seems most Americans are oblivious to what is going on because the major news-networks are not reporting these shutdowns. The economic damage that is being inflicted is a national disgrace. Some small businesses may never reopen. The America that we knew is no more.

And that is what Obama wants, it is sickening to me the way he is willing to sacrifice the American worker to push his political agenda.

Sorry this issue has me steamed … This is class warfare at its uglist. The majority of people using the campgrounds are working class. The rich will not be affected they stay in the inns and resorts. They are probably happy that there will be less lower class tourist to spoil their viewing pleasure.

There is no doubt in my mind that Obama is trying to hurt the people while claiming he is trying to help them and I find it disgusting.

The important question here, Steve, is who do the good people of New Hampshire blame? The Republicans or President Obama and the Democrats? Please tell me they know it is Obama and the Democrats.

Obummer continues to show hate for every American. He hurts his little sheeple as he tries to get to us Patriots. He is not going to stop until EVERYONE walks to the orders he gives. He is spoiling for the fight and martial law in America. I live in NH, I know that his actions will hurt both Liberal and Conservative business owners. I hope all the business owners realize that this shut down belongs squarely on the Democrats shoulders. This administration will eventually pay for their actions.

I hope they realize it also but somehow the Republicans will probably take the blame. I hope people are seeing through the MSM on this one.

One of Obama’s preferred golf courses, the course on Andrews Airforce Base remains open during the government shutdown.  The grocery stores on the base, where troops get discounted groceries for their families are, however, closed.  They will shop “at local stores that cost about 30 percent more, Lieutenant General Raymond Mason, the service’s deputy chief of staff for logistics, said yesterday at a House hearing.”
The Andrews Air Force Base golf course is funded through user fees and that’s why it remains open, said Air Force Captain Lindy Singleton, chief of public affairs for the 11th Wing at Andrews.

Remember the emperor has no clothes. It just some people will go along with the scam because they don’t want to be the one to speak the truth.

Well, this says it all: http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2536908
We cannot allow the veterans on the mall, but we CAN allow the illegals, along with a bunch of Dems to support them. What is wrong with this picture and what is it going to take for people to start screaming? This is beyond comprehension, illegals AND our Congress people right out there supporting them. I imagine there will be police or whoever patrols the area during a rally, right? No one will be arrested, but if it were VETERANS going there, they have already threatened them with arrest. Crazy!!!

After reading it again, this stuck out to me:
“Susana Flores, a spokesperson for the rally, confirmed for the Washington Examiner that the Park Service will allow the event to take place under the group’s rights granted by the First Amendment”, correct me if I am wrong, but WHERE in the First Amendment does an illegal have the right to freedom of speech or to peaceably assemble? Are ALL the people that will be at the rally LEGAL citizens of the USA? Most likely not, but just in case they are, we will give them the benefit of the doubt. Ok, if this group has a right to “peaceably assemble”, didn’t the Honor Flight VETS have the same right, under the First Amendment? Were they not “peaceably assembling”? Maybe they didn’t ask as nicely to please let them assemble OR they were shit canned, just BECAUSE!! So, if we go to any of these shut down places, if we just use the excuse that we are “peaceably assembling” we should be alright? Maybe someone needs to draw this to the medias attention!!!!!
