Obamacare: Can personal information needed to sign up for healthcare be used for law enforcement?

October 8, 2013

If you apply for healthcare through an exchange in Maryland the answer to the question is yes:

The policy contains many standard statements about information automatically collected regarding Internet browsers and IP addresses, temporary “cookies” used by the site, and website accessibility.  However, at least two conditions may give some users pause before proceeding.

The first is regarding personal information submitted with an application for those users who follow through on the sign up process all the way to the end.  The policy states that all information to help in applying for coverage and even for making a payment will be kept strictly confidential and only be used to carry out the function of the marketplace.  There is, however, an exception: “[W]e may share information provided in your application with the appropriate authorities for law enforcement and audit activities.”

Your information can be used for law enforcement or audit purposes and need I remind you that the corrupt IRS, which has been exchanging personal information directly with the White House, is in charge of implementing the healthcare reform law?

While this is only applicable in the state of Maryland–at least as far as we know–I think we can expect this to be adopted by all the other states, either on their own or at the suggestion of the Federal government. The healthcare exchanges are supposed to be run at the state level but judging by the history of the Federal government I do not think it is a reach by any means to consider the possibility that over time there will be one standard disclaimer issued from the White House which all states must comply with.

This story illustrates just how intrusive the healthcare reform law can be: People without insurance are forced to join the healthcare exchanges. Because they have to join the exchanges they are forced to give up personal information which can and will be used against them in a court of law. The IRS–which has already been caught targeting political enemies–is in charge of enforcing Obamacare,  and as I stated above, the agency is already colluding with the White House on another issue. What is the worst that can happen…..

Oh my God! Is it possible this insane country I live in affords me more freedom the the United States of America? Our government has proven time and time again that it can not be trusted; yet the sheeple keep lining up to be slaughtered.
