Obamacare: Barack Obama talks about website “glitches”
Earlier today Barack Obama went into damage control when he held an Obamacare rally in the Rose Garden. During this event he defended the policy by claiming it was a “good deal” for the American people.
He went on to say that the fact that the Obamacare website has already received 20 million unique hits as proof that there is major support for the policy among the American people.
This is a statistic that many on the left have been citing as the reason for the glitches and as proof that the American people support this law. This is the left’s talking point, but what the president and the Democrats are ignoring is the fact that all Americans are forced to purchase healthcare or face the wrath of the IRS so they have no choice but to visit the website and sign up for coverage if the do not already have it.

What about non-American citizens residing in America? Do they have to buy ObamaCare?

For some reason I think they will be getting a pass.

I watched the charade today. Looking forward to the hearing with sebelius. The tide just may start to turn. He gave out a telephone number that doesn’t work. Soon the left will have to deal with this.

I don’t know how you do it, I cannot even stand this man’s voice! It is a debacle and the fact the phone number doesn’t work is more proof. I cannot wait to here Sebelius either! This is all falling apart and the left should be embarrassed.

Cruz just might have the last laugh in the end. I watch him because I don’t want to ever forget this man caused my “early retirement.” Myself and tens of thousands of healthcare workers. A story out there that has only been hinted at, but will make headlines soon. The destruction of our hospital system. Anyone with twenty years or more with a system have been pretty much “outplaced”. That was what I was called.

They will blame on the “Republican’s” sequester cuts. If HHS had had more money, the system would be working perfectly. It is never going to be their fault, is it?

CoF,
OF COURSE it is never their fault. Whenever their ideas don’t work it is ALWAYS because 1) we didn’t give it enough time to work 2) republicans KEPT it from working 3) it IS working, but republicans are lying about it 4) republicans prevented them from implementing necessary aspects 5) republicans withheld/didn’t allot enough money for it to work 6) republicans kept them from making it big enough to work 7) because, well, Tea Party 8) because RACIST 9) because Rush, Cruz, Beck, Rand Paul.
Did I leave anything out….?

As time goes on I think that people will realize that Cruz was right. The effect this is going to have on hospitals will be a bigger story in the future, I am starting to read some about this.

Jim and Laura, you are both right about what will happen. Obama will blame the Republicans and the lack of funding for the problems with the website. It is all too predictable and I hope that people are finally tiring of his act.

This lying sack of shit was so convincing I would buy a bridge from him. Using the idiot savants on stage as a backdrop was a nice touch.

It turns out that only three of the useful idiots behind the stage have actually signed up using the exchanges.

How is it ol’ floppy ears neglected to use this forum to blame yesterday morning’s school shooting along with this cluster f__k known as obionekanobe care on the republicans, Ted Cruz, George Bush or somebody! They better retool the teleprompter.

So far I am surprised that nobody on the left is trying to exploit this story!
