Obamacare: Barack Obama asked Blue Cross to hide its enrollment numbers

  One of the questions which has been asked by members of the media to various officials within the Obama regime is, how many people have actually been able to enroll in the healthcare exchange?

  Not one single person who was asked this question was either willing–or able–to answer that question and now we may know why.

  It is being reported in this story that the most open and honest administration in the history of the United States contacted Blue Cross Blue Shield in North Dakota and asked them not to release the abysmal numbers:

The Obama administration asked North Dakota’s largest health insurer not to publicize how many people have signed up for health insurance through a new online exchange, a company official says.

During a Monday forum in Fargo for people interested in signing up for coverage via the exchange, James Nichol of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota told the crowd his company received the request from the federal government earlier Monday. Nichol is a consumer sales manager for the company.

  We can easily assume, and actually rest assured, that if one insurance company in one state received such a request that most insurance companies in most states also received the same request for it would make no sense, or gain the Obama regime a single thing, to simply ask one company in one state to cover up its numbers.

  This is not surprising because lie, deny, and cover-up is the first reaction the Obama regime has to any potential scandal as we saw with Fast and Furious, Solargate, Benghazi, the IRS, the NSA, and now with Obamacare.

    This of course is coming from the same regime which tried to shake down ally Bob Beckel for having the gall to state that perhaps the individual mandate should be postponed. And, of course, this is not the first time the Obama regime has gone after the media for opposing his agenda, who could forget that he actually collected the phone records from the media in an attempt at intimidating them?

  What is this if it is not a Stalinist approach at attempting to control the message and disseminate only the information he wants made accessible to the public?
