Democrats try to blame the Obamcare roll-out failure on the government shutdown

October 25, 2013

The Democrats purposely orchestrated the government shutdown by refusing to negotiate with the conservative wing of the Republican party over Obamacare. They shut down the government for one reason and one reason only; they thought they could blame the Republicans for the shutdown and ride this issue to victory in the 2014 midterm election.

Naturally the mainstream media was more than willing to help them along with this plan but then something happened; the shutdown ended and the failure of the Obamacare roll-out was too magnificent to ignore so the focus quickly shifted from the shutdown to the problems with the healthcare exchange website.

This naturally presented the Democrats with a problem because if these problems persist it could be an issue in the 2014 election when the big issue was supposed to be about how the Republicans shut down the government over their ideological opposition to Obamacare. The Democrats want the focus to be on the government shutdown.

This leaves the Democrats with only one option and that is to try to tie the two issues together and that is what they are currently trying to do. The Democrats are now beginning to try to shift the blame for the Obamacare roll-out on the Republicans even though not one Republican voted for this disaster and even though the Republicans were willing to shut down the government in order to avoid this fiasco.

What the roll-out shows us is that people like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee were right about Obamacare all along and they are the ones who had the best interests of the American people at heart when they tried to delay the Obamacare mandate. Now we are seeing why the mandate should have been delayed but that is not what the Democrats would have us believe. They want us to believe that the roll out would have gone much smoother if the government had remained open, even though the website was tested on a small scale days before the launch and it still crashed.

Everyone knew the site was not ready for prime time and they decided to go forward because they did not want to hand the Republicans a victory, now every Democrat who is up for reelection in 2014 supports delaying the mandate and the Democrats may have to walk back to the negotiating table with their hats in their hands and rather than admitting their mistake they are still trying to pin this on Ted Cruz.

The government had three years and over $600 million dollars to build a damn website and they failed so it is ludicrous to believe that not having the non-essential government employees at work for two weeks had anything to do with this failure. Yet they must try lest the American people realize how badly they bungled this whole thing.

I’m surprised it took them this long to try to shift the blame for the Obamacare woes to the Republicans.

This is being done to cover-up the disclosure made at the hearing with the Healthcare.gov contractor. The HIPAA law for patients right to privacy is being violated by the Healthcare.gov website. Apparently some unidentified bureaucrat (sounds so familiar – were have we heard this before!!) inserted a code that indicates you do not have a right to privacy. No one with half of brain should sign-up for this Dr. Faustus bargain.

This was so predictable; as smarter if fact some if us commented that this is exactly what would happen.

We can only hope the dots can be connected by those not paying much attention. We warned for years about the coming Armageddon.

I think the dots will finally be connected when these people realize how expensive “free” healthcare is turning out to be.
