Obamacare: You have no reasonable expectation of privacy

October 25, 2013

We have all heard the stories about how intrusive the questions an applicant must answer on the healthcare exchange website before a person can even see what the policies or the rates are, but the news gets even worse because we are learning that hidden in the code of the website is text which states that a person has “no reasonable expectation of privacy.”

Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, on Thursday grilled Cheryl Campbell, senior vice president of CGI Federal Inc., the company that built the Obamacare health-insurance exchange website, on language hidden in source code on the site that says applicants have “no reasonable expectation of privacy.”

Barton showed Campbell an image of the website coding that included this warning, and she confirmed that she knew it was there.

However, she insisted that in developing the site the way it did, her company was simply following “a set of rules and regulations” set out under their contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The representative from CGI, the company contracted to build the website, admitted the code was there but claimed they had to write this code into the website because it was part of the agreement with the government.

And by filling out the online application a person is agreeing to give up this right to privacy without even knowing they are doing so because they do not see this disclaimer when they are signing up:

“This is the part of the signup that is hidden,” said Barton. “The applicant does not see this, but it is in the source code, and what that blue highlighted area that’s been circled in red says is: ‘You have no reasonable expectation of privacy regarding any communication or data transmitting or stored on this information system.”

In my opinion this proves what I, and many other opponents of the healthcare law, have been saying all along; the law has nothing to do with providing healthcare to Americans who could otherwise not afford it, but has everything to do with gaining more control and information on every American citizen.

The Obama regime is using the healthcare reform law to create a file on every single American who signs up on the site for healthcare insurance, and we know the goal is to eventually force every single American into the healthcare exchanges and now we know why. The regime is not satisfied with the information the NSA and IRS are gathering, they want more…..

The next step if one has ever had a tranquilizer prescribed or a sleeping pill you will never ever be able to own a gun. The VA already is implementing it. My family doctor asked me if I own a gun. This as she was entering data into my electronic medical record. My medical group is part of a demonstration project for obamacare known as a ” medical home”.. More about that as part of rationing. Some day I will post about it.

This is part of the plan with this whole deal. We are going to see more and more issues reclassified as mental disorders simply so that more and more people will lose the right to keep and bear arms.

Let’s see if I’ve got this right. ObamaCare premiums are higher, the deductible is higher, you don’t have a choice of doctors, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy, and a death pannel may decide you don’t deserve medical treatment. And, Americans elected this guy twice? What’s wrong with this picture?

I can see them forcing you into certain procedure because the medical bureaucrats have decided it is cheaper than other alternatives. For example a man over age 50 who signs- up for OC will be contacted by an OC handler and be told he has been scheduled for orchiectomy surgery. The man feeling a little apprehensive will ask why. The handler will say the government wants to reduce prostate cancer and this is the least costly way. So the man more concerned will ask what will they do in this surgery, the handler now peeved at the questions will tell the man matter-of-factly “We will have to cut your balls off”

There is no doubt that when the government controls the whole system they will make decisions based on costs instead of doing what is best for the patient.

And they have to wonder why so many Americans have little or no trust in the federal government. This should give them a clue, I would think.

It should also serve as a warning to the depths they will go to further their agenda.
