Dianne Feinstein defends Barack Obama’s “you can keep your insurance” lie by claiming that promise was only good until Obamacare passed

November 4, 2013

I do not intend to spend too much of my time on this story but it is simply too good to ignore. Over the weekend Dianne Feinstein appeared on Face the Nation in an attempt to defend Barack Obama and his now infamous “you can keep your insurance” lie.

Here is what she said, and no, I am not making this up:

Well, as I understand it, you can keep it up to the time — and I hope this is correct, but this is what I’ve been told — up to the time the bill was enacted, and after that, it’s a different story.  That part of it, if true, was never made clear.

If  you like your insurance you can keep it, but only until we pass Obamacare and then it is a different story? Really? As long as the Congress didn’t vote to change the system everything would remain the same, but once the Congress voted to change the system all bets were off. And then she says that perhaps that point was never made clear, and why do you suppose that is Senator?

Because that was not what Barack Obama was saying at all and in fact if this was admitted during the push to pass Obamacare there would have been even more backlash against it than there already was.

Of course she knows this but she is hoping the American people are stupid enough to buy into it as the left continues to lie about the true goal of Obamacare. The left has officially jumped the shark trying to defend Barack Obama and his lies and I find it hard to believe that one single American will buy the snake oil she is now peddling.

It is really getting entertaining to listen to these people defend the indefensible and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next in their defense of what everyone now knows was a lie from the very beginning.

In this same vein Oliar was to heal the country’s racial divide and bar lobbiests from the White House and part the oceans before he was elected but once he was all bets were off. Give him credit for consistency.

Dianne Feinstein, like most politicians, thinks of her constituents as mushrooms. Keep them in the dark and give them a steady dose of fertilizer and they will be happy.

People are losing their insurance because Obama wants them to lose it. He had and has the power to make sure everyone could keep their insurance if they wanted to. The people that wrote the were under his orders. The people who wrote the regulations work directly for the Executive branch. He could stop this outrage if he wanted to. He doesn’t.

And that is a point that I hope people are beginning to realize. I just wish the Republicans were doing more to get this message out there!

I just wish more of the coverage focused on the regs that were passed that changed the fact that almost all policies no longer qualified as grandfathered as opposed to the law itself. Obama could just as easily change this to the original intent as to what HHS created.

So do I! Where are the Republicans on this? They should be out there hammering this point home but they are not.

The Dem have won again. They have been able to spin this to “your existing health care plan was lousy and you were to stupid to know it” It is time to walk away from the Rep party. Sorry but Cruz, Lee, Rubio and Paul are all about themselves otherwise they would have stated most adamantly they are not running for President.

I don’t think they are going to win this argument this time around but we need the Republicans to start hammering them on this!

While the republicans are being wise, inadvertently, by stepping back and allowing Zero to lie his way into a deeper hole, they might peruse all 12 million pages of the law and pick out the next regulation to harm we the people and allow the coming around to the lues media to run with it; you know, ala Cruz and Lee and stay ahead if the curve while avoiding confrontation with their democrat compatriots. Forewarned is forearmed…

There is an old adage that when your opponent is digging himself into a deeper hole you step back and let him do it. With the MSM suddenly attacking Obama over this the Republicans may be wise to step back and let them do their dirty work.
