Harry Reid says criticism of Obamacare is a joke

November 7, 2013

Harry Reid took to the Senate floor today and called Republican opposition to Obamacare a joke:

We’ve heard things so many times, we would immediately laugh because basically they’re jokes,” Reid said

To date roughly 4.5 million people have lost their healthcare coverage as a result of Obamacare and Forbes estimates the number will eventually climb to 93 million. I would ask Harry Reid to talk to these Americans and ask them if they think Obamacare opposition was a joke or not. I do not think the American people are laughing.

But Harry Reid went on to say this:

The president signed it, the Supreme Court upheld it. It is the law of the land.

This is a true statement of course, Obamacare is the law of the land. But then again, so was slavery back in the day. So does that mean that if Harry Reid was a Senator in the 1800’s he would have found opposition to the “law of the land” to be nothing but a joke? After all it was the Democrats fighting to keep that “peculiar institution” the law of the land. Just saying…..

This geritol slurping embarrassment, whose claim to a senate seat is built on repeatedly fooling a really stupid and ignorant electorate, needs to visit the senate water closet and get a hold of himself.

They keep voting him in so they get what they deserve, I just wish they were not taking the rest of us down with them.

Actually an honest face of what the regime is. Take a good look, this is the ignorance reflected back from the electorate. In someway we a lucky. Nothing clever or slick about him.

Exactly, this is what you get when an uniformed electorate are making the decisions.

Reid was known to “fix” the voting tabs last election. Nevada wanted to be rid of him and staged a giant motorcycle rally. Unfortunatly, (sp?) he over rode the public and the election officials looked the other way. He is as senile and corrupt as they come!

Obummer’s ratings are in the 37% low. More dumbed down people are catching on. I’m still waiting for the fall out of the big reductions on Food Stamps. So far, here in North Florida, it’s been quiet!

Yes, even his supporters are beginning to turn on him. I hope this will be enough to hand us the 2014 election but I expect Obama to ride to the rescue on the food stamp issue and restore them while blaming Republicans for taking them away. I hope it doesn’t work but we have see this tactic be successful in the past.

It seems to me Mr. Reid is rather cavalier about going on the floor of the Senate and blasting his political opponents. He should remember, if the Democrats happen to lose the Senate, turn about is fair play.

Yes turnabout is fair play but somehow I don’t think the Democrats will see it that way.
