Obamacare: Report claims that 50-100 million Americans will lose their healthcare when the employer mandate kicks in

November 20, 2013

To date roughly 5 million Americans have lost their healthcare coverage due to Obamacare. The Obama regime defends this by claiming that this number represents only a small percentage of Americans who were in the individual mandate while those who are provided their healthcare through their employees–the vast majority of Americans–have been unaffected.

While this is true it is only because the individual mandate has gone into effect while the employer mandate was delayed until next year. Once the employer mandate goes into effect the percentage of Americans who lose their healthcare coverage will increase dramatically. That is what Barack Obama is not telling the American people.

How many people will lose their healthcare insurance when the employer mandate goes into effect?

According to this story it will be anywhere from 50-100 million more Americans:

A new and independent analysis of ObamaCare warns of a ticking time bomb, predicting a second wave of 50 million to 100 million insurance policy cancellations next fall — right before the mid-term elections.

The next round of cancellations and premium hikes is expected to hit employees, particularly of small businesses.

While the administration has tried to downplay the cancellation notices hitting policyholders on the individual market by noting they represent a relatively small fraction of the population, the swath of people who will be affected by the shakeup in employer-sponsored coverage will be much broader.

This is, of course, the reasoning behind the Obama regime’s decision to delay the employer mandate in the first place–lessen the initial blow. A slow bleed if you will.

There is no way in hell that Barack Obama is going to allow this many people to lose their healthcare shortly before the midterm election so I fully expect him to delay the employer mandate once again until after the midterms in order to save Democratic seats in the House and in the Senate.

If this is successful and the Democrats hold onto the Senate the employer mandate will be implemented and all hell will break loose. This was the plan all along as the government tries to implement a single payer system, perhaps this is why the Department of Homeland Security is purchasing millions of rounds of hollow point ammunition…..

Evrything Obama does has is for political reasons. His agenda is everything.

There were days when It was hard to find something worthwhile to post about. Now it is where even to begin. Lets enjoy the ride while we can. This debt ceiling stuff is coming up and I hope the Gopers figure out how to message it.

I hear you there and I am enjoying this immensely, we tried to warn people but sometimes seeing is believing. I still don’t trust the GOP to get the message out there.

What about those with HIV/AIDS? What are the stats on how their healthcare is going to change. At this point only 1 in 4 people with HIV/AIDS have health insurance. Even though they cannot be turned down from health care, their new found health insurance is going to come at a very high cost. Very High.

I don’t think any stats have been released but they will be in the same situation as anyone else with preexisting conditions. They will be forced to purchase healthcare they cannot afford or else “let nature take its course” as one cancer patient said who found out he couldn’t afford Obamacare. It is truly sad…..

I guess it turns out their decision to oppose Obamacare was not simply a racist decision after all.

At least we have that going for us, Harrison. Obama and his administration will postpone whatever they need to, to keep the Senate, we know that. It will depend on what the Republicans can come up with and get out to the mass, about what is going on. Now, not that I believe his followers will believe what they say, but it might just put a bit of doubt in their minds that maybe something is just not right.

I think it is starting to make liberals look at Obama in a different light. SOmetime seeing is believing so perhaps there is a blessing in all of this. We will have to wait and see…..

Obama is focused on preventing the Democratic Party from bleeding profusely in the mid-term elections. Once that has been accomplished, all bets are off. If he is anything, he is single-minded in his purpose to take over the health care system in America.

Obama is only concerned with keeping the Democrats in power, he does not care about the American people. We will all know this is true if and when he delays the employer mandate. I hope the people can see through this because if they do not all hell is going to break loose.

Time is running out for the guys riding in Obama’s clown car to come up with a vaible plan to pin this whole debacle on Ted Cruz and the republicans. The latest which may have some traction is that their obstruction cast a negative pall over this cluster f_ck. . Also, keep in mind that the upcoming debt limit and budget battles, which republicans cannot win, may yet overshadow Obamacare. Think not? …seems implausable unless you factor in the IQ of the american voters and the power of the MSM over them.

Ryan has already signaled that the Republicans will lie down on the debt ceiling and CR when they come up again, talk about handing Obama a much needed victory!

Facing an outcry from businesses, the Obama administration is delaying a key part of the new health care law for an additional year, to 2015 — a stunning move that officials said gives them a chance to work out kinks over how to administer the so-called employer mandate.

Yep, anything to delay the pain until after the election and then all bets are off!
