Mitch McConnell calls the Tea Party a “bunch of bullies”

November 22, 2013

If this story is true Mitch McConnell called the Tea Party a bunch of bullies who should be punched in the nose while on a conference call with Karl Rove’s organization:

McConnell said the Tea Party was ‘nothing but a bunch of bullies,’” the source said. “And he said ‘you know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do”

Karl Rove’s organization is designed to, and charged with, protecting  the incumbent establishment Republicans from challenges outside of the ruling class, so it is no surprise to hear hostility voiced against those that threaten their power.

Why does Mitch McConnell consider the Tea Party to be bullies? Because they have the audacity to hold him accountable to the people for his votes by running a more conservative candidate against him in the primary. He feels as if he is entitled to his position and he probably feels insulted that somebody would run against him and attempt to take away what he feels is rightfully his.

This is elitist mentality of the highest order and I have no doubt in my mind this story is true despite the denials this ever took place. After all, this is not the first time the establishment Republicans have gone after the Tea Party. We must not forget that John Boehner punished conservatives in the Republican party for not toeing the establishment line by removing them for budget committees. There is a history here and I agree with what an unnamed aide said when he stated, “perhaps if he focused less on destroying the Tea Party and more on defeating Democrats, he’d have more to show for his leadership.”

Karl Rove is backed by the big crony capitalist corporations. These corporations don’t care which patrty wins (they back both parties). They just want to make sure their bought and paid for whores remember who they are working for.

You are right, the corporations have bought both parties so it doesn’t matter who is in control.

Mitch McConnell and other would be conservatives are without a doubt worrying about their uncertain future in the Republcan party. For years their half-ass attempts to cloak themselves in the conservative mantle has finally been esposed and they are now left naked before an ever increasing informed electroate. These RINO’S and would be republcans are a threat to conservative values and thereby a threat to the nation as a whole. I have no doubt that Mitch McConnell thinks himself to be a patriot, and for that I thank him. But what one thinks about himself is not important, but rather what he actually does. Words mean notheing when not backed up by actions/

Actions speak louder than words and the people are growing tired of these so-called conservatives caving into the liberals at every turn while promising to fight another day.

Damn it, don’t we on the “non-left” have enough working against us without such infighting? None of them listened to Ronald Reagan’s golden rule? The factions making up the left are far more split on philosophy, but somehow they are keeping it together, AND WINNING! Will we ever learn?

Yeah, the left always seems to rally around their own (all though we are starting to see cracks in that over Obamacare) while the Republicans are more than eager to throw their own under the bus.

The left never eats their own, only the RINO’s go after real Republicans for the sake of being liked by liberals that despise them. Mitch McConnel is an ass, he’s hurting his own party. These damn moderates keep telling us to follow their lead and we keep losing elections. I can’t wait for a Tea Party challenger to kick him out of office. The future of the GOP is with the Rubios, Rand Paul’s, etc.

You think that they would learn eventually but it appears they won’t until we kick them out of office.
