The one promise Barack Obama has kept: The price of electricity skyrockets
With Barack Obama exposed as the liar he is after his now infamous “if you like your plan you can keep it” lie the majority of the American people now feel as if Barack Obama has no credibility.
However, there is one promise Barack Obama has kept; do you remember when he said that under his plan energy rates would “necessarily skyrocket?” I am sure you do, but if you are one of the useful idiots who have always taken Barack Obama at his word and are not familiar with this promise here is the video:
It is now being reported in this story that this is one goal he has reached:
The price of electricity hit a record for the month of October, according to data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That made October the eleventh straight month when the average price of electricity hit or matched the record level for that month.
The average price of electricity in October was 13.2 cents per kilowatt hour (KWH), up from 12.8 cents per KWH in October 2012—and up from 9.3 cents per KWH in October 2003.
Americans now pay 42 percent more for electricity than they did a decade ago.
Of course he has been unable to get cap and trade passed through the Congress, but as he once claimed, “there is more than one way to skin a cat” and he is using the EPA to gradually do an end run around the Congress to gradually implement his radical cap and trade policy.
To quote Barack Obama’s predecessor, it looks as if he can now proclaim ‘mission accomplished.’

The hits keep right on coming. This should slide a couple of more states to swing our way. Especially Ohio. Yep. 2016. If we last that long.

I hope this slides states our way and I hope we have enough time. It is reaching critical mass and I think it is going to get very ugly quickly.

And there are more coal plants to shut down yet, so prices will go even higher yet.

I don’t think Obama cares about his credibility. As disastrous as it is, he’s still implementing his agenda.

You are 100% right abut that!

And as Bunkerville says in the comments, this should give us 2016. If we last that long. Hell we can’t even be sure we’ll last until 2014. And the question is: Who have we got? Anybody worth a damn? Or are they just going to be like all the rest?

Thanks for the reblog. I wonder if we can hold on that long and like you, I wonder if we even have anybody we can run in 2014 even if we do hold on.

Sorry for the downer attitude, Steve, but I’m starting to wonder if anything right is ever going to happen.

I feel the same way, while we should win in 2014 I know that the Republicans are going to do something to screw it up.

I didn’t have a chance this morning to get a post up, actually I haven’t been consistent lately getting an open thread up on Sundays. Got to try to get back to it more regularly. Thanks for sharing this, it will be interesting to see if this goes anywhere. The one thing I am leery about in that article is a national sales tax on some items because I feel once instituted it will grow beyond its intent.

So much of our attention is attacked by this fraud ~ the creepie plant ~ makes one wonder what other anti-American plots are hatching going on while this enemy stirs the pot of indignation. We need ‘pro-American’ leaders.

I wonder the same thing also. Obama is a globalist more than an American and I also fear what might be coming down the road next.
