Obamacare: Barack Obama delays the small business online enrollment for one year
Barack Obama promised the American people (and we all know what his promises are worth, don’t we) that the glitches in the healthcare website would be fixed by the end of November.
Well, when a president has bad news to deliver to the American people it is usually done on a Friday night when few people are paying attention, as we all know the term for this is called a ‘Friday document dump.’ But when the news is real bad a regime will try to unload this information before a long holiday weekend to ensure that as few people as possible actually hear the news.
That is what Barack Obama did with the news he was delaying the employer mandate, he announced in on July 2nd, and now he has done it again.
While people are preoccupied with Thanksgiving and preparing their meals for tomorrow’s feasts Barack Obama announced that the regime was delaying the small business online enrollment by one year:
The Obama administration today announced a one year delay of online enrollment for small businesses looking to purchase health coverage through federal Obamacare exchanges, another high-profile setback for HealthCare.gov.
It’s the second delay for online small business enrollment, which the administration had said would begin this month.
Even the left-leaning Politico was forced to admit this was a major setback for the healthcare website. Small businesses will still be able to enroll in Obamacare, they just have to use the phone or fill out paper applications, they are being urged not to use the website.
The reason for this is so clear that even Politico understands why:
The White House is trying to get the troubled enrollment website on track for individuals and families seeking coverage, which is a higher priority. It set this Saturday, Nov. 30, as a target date for getting HealthCare.gov working for the “vast majority” of users.
The administration is focused on its goal of signing up 7 million through Obamacare exchanges through the individual marketplaces. That doesn’t count on small business enrollment, which is why Obamacare critics and advocates say the small-business exchanges, known as SHOP, are further down on the administration’s priority list.
Barack Obama knows that the website will not be ready to handle the heavy traffic before his self-imposed deadline so he is seeking to limit how many people are using the website in a blatant attempt to make it appear as if the website is working better than it really is, and he knows that most people will not even read the story about how he is limiting traffic to the website to achieve this deception because they are preoccupied with Thanksgiving.
His goal has gone from actually fixing the website to making it appear as if he has fixed the website.

Good question, I like to think the jig is up but it is hard to judge what will happen next November at this point. Will this all be forgotten by then? I hope not!

Everyone should burn their health insurance policies in protest of what the insurances companies have done. It’s time to tell all these companies go screw themselves. People should seek to form health cooperatives or join health plans managed by doctors and hospitals instead.
