Liberal journalist finally understands Barack Obama uses the media for propaganda, bashes MSNBC

December 5, 2013

Liberal journalist  Jeremy Scahill appeared on a liberal talk show and had this to say about the Obama regime:

“You have, on the one hand, President Obama saying that his administration is going to be the most transparent in history and that they want to be friends with the press,” he said. “And on the other hand, they are monitoring the metadata of journalists, they are seizing phone records, they are trying to compel journalists to testify against their sources, they are trying to figure out who journalists are talking to within government so that they can go and indict those people.”

“Our profession, our trade is the only one specifically cited in the Constitution for a reason,” he said. “When all three branches of the government are colluding against the interests of the people, it’s the responsibility of journalists to hold them accountable. But this White House, like Bush’s before, they seem to want only state media. They want everything to look like MSNBC, and that’s not real journalism.”

My only question is, what took him so long? This is something that many of us on the right have been saying for years, and for this we have been bashed. I have been saying for years that MSNBC is nothing but the Ministry of Propaganda and the propaganda wing of the Obama regime so it is quite satisfying to see someone on the left basically admit that what we have been saying for so long is the truth.

Welcome to the fold Mr. Scahill, better late than never…..

A phone call from whomever and Scahill may be back in the fold in which he ‘s been most comfortable. It’s rare indeed when one of these two tied sloths change sides.

I don’t know if anybody changed sides, but at the same time, everybody has their breaking point.

I am with rjjrdq, he hasn’t really changed sides. He is more like a jilted lover who will be back because he cannot stay away. Still, it is fun to watch these people get in a tizzy because Obama isn’t loving them back.

Don’t let yourself be fooled. This individual has not changed sides, he is simply trying to, as Steve said, express his frustration about his treatment by President Obama. He played the game, the administration is only supposed to go after those who work for talk radio or Fox News.
Mr. Scahill is also pulling a classic progressive move. He is putting a wedge between himself and President Obama. A small wedge, one that can easily be removed, if need be, but could also be easily driven deep to split himself from a collapsing administration. To a progressive the progressive ideology is more important than any individual. So when public opinion turns against the radical progressive agenda, the person behind the wheel is thrown under the bus. This is done so they can continue to use their classic line “it (progressivism) only failed because the right people haven’t tried it yet. We now have the right people”.

When push comes to shove this man will once again fall in line with the Democrat agenda, he hasn’t really changed, he is just a little disgruntled but he will never change sides.

That helps explain why this administration wants to dissolve the Constitution. At least Jeremy still believes in ‘real journalism.’
With the ‘double speak’ going on today, the youth and manageable go-a-longer’s are conditioned to think they need a dictator not a Constitution – ignorant of enslavement being taught to them as freedom, purporting the ‘hip’ ‘global’ the new utopian age oneness as the answer to all their problems and woes. Total fraud, but whatever it takes these destroyers will connive, steal and lie to do as they please … and kill even their followers for the good of the ‘order’.

Exactly, the youth today does not understand what the intended role of the federal government and the president is supposed to be and that is dangerous as they come to voting age.

This fraud is why it is so important that we hunt down progressives where ever they are. Drag them out into the light, and reveal them for the monsters they truly are. We cannot stand silent.

Progressive’s know that they face extinction. They thrive only when the truth is concealed form the people. With this modern technological age, information travels faster than they can re-write it. The lies they once used to enslave us, can now be debunked and rebuked a crossed the nation in mere minutes. Progressives are scared, they fear losing their power, and this makes them dangerous. Like a wounded animal, their actions will become unpredictable and more violent. Be prepared for this, and know it is a sign of their coming demise.
As I said it is time that we take these people head on. Drag them into the arena of ideas, rather than the fanciful world of feelings and emotions, and they will fall.

The internet is the great equalizer, no longer is the MSM or the Democrats (but I repeat myself) the last word on any subject. This explains why they are so eager to gain control over the internet.

I think this guy does not make the connection between his ideology, and the fact control of information is a major part of that ideology. It’s like he’s eating an apple pie, and being offended that it tastes like apples.

Yeah, he isn’t making the connection that he is part of the problem. Suddenly he is upset at what we have been saying for years, but he and those like him helped to create this monster.
